Let’s face it, that’s what you’re here for, so put your bags down, and take it in for a while from the living room or balcony. Keep an eye open for occasional sightings of an otter drifting by, dolphins riding the surf, and perhaps even whales! Enjoy the frequent visits from the sweet hummingbirds that come to drink from our feeders on the balcony. This clean and comfortable condo is located on the third floor, facing West for spectacular sunsets. You will also enjoy the beautiful furnishings and decor in the interior of the condo during your stay. The master bedroom shares the ocean view, with access to the balcony, and has a California king size bed with a goose down mattress topper and goose down pillows. The second bedroom has two queen size beds with goose down pillows. Take a short drive to dine out in Aptos, Capitola or Moss Landing, or grill up your own delicacies on the BBQ. Enjoy a cozy evening by the wood burning fireplace, catch your favorite movie on the flat screen T.V. hooked up with cable and/or the Blu Ray DVD player, have some laughs over the plentiful stock of games, and stay connected with free Wi-Fi. Pajaro Dunes Resort is nestled approximately 20 miles south of Santa Cruz, and 30 miles north of Monterey. Located at Sunset State Beach, you can enjoy long strolls to Manresa State Beach and beyond. Spend a fun-filled day kayaking with the otters at Moss Landing, just a ten minute drive. Boogey board, surf or fish right outside the condo. This unit has a decent sunset location, but you'll need to stand in the front corner of the balcony to see it outside during the winter. You'll need to carry your bags up from the 2nd floor to the 3rd as well. The master bed is quite comfortable. Beach access is excellent.BE PREPARED - The carpet is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen in a rental - it's light colored with dozens of large black stains.The unit badly lacks cooking hardware and software. No measuring cup(s), no grater, no spices other than s&p, size and lid challenged pots and pans, no baking hardware of any kind, no foil, no baggies, no plastic wrap, no napkins, no plastic storage containers, and worst of all --SINGLE PLY TOILET PAPER and really cheap paper towels. This unit does not offer Spectrum Cable - which many units at Pajaro use. You need to have your Streaming game to enjoy either tv. There are no USB Ports or power strips accessible anywhere, including the bedroom. Also, be careful arount the curtain/rod in the bedroom - it fell on my head. It was screwed about one thread past the drywall. I bought screws/screwdriver to fix it above the door handle to the left, didnt want to mess with the funky solution they screwed into the right side. Also, the towel bar holders in each bathroom are installed wrong and fall to the ground.Many units in this price range have much better amenities and cleanliness. ##### ken b. We had rented this condo a couple of years ago for a family reunion with family from Missouri. So when family from Texas wanted to do a reunion, we decided to rent the same spot. You could literally watch the sunset from the living room if you wanted to- but we preferred to experience it from the beach. Our family was amazed when they walked in and saw the view from the living room window. The unit was well furnished and we felt right at home for our stay. The primary bedroom is the only one worth the price. The back bedroom was terrible. The beds were very uncomfortable, can’t see or hear the ocean and the mattresses were covered in plastic.
