Our condo was wonderful and the location of the lodge was a short walk to the Town Square. Would definitely stay here again.

The 2 of us were there the 1st week in October for peak foliage and there were very few people at Golden Eagle Lodge or in the Valley. I enjoyed reading the paper in the lobby with no one else around. Excellent access to walking and hiking trails. Hiked Mt Oceola. Our GEL 1 bedroom condo was ok but not great: broken bedroom shade (stuck half closed) and non-functioning bedroom TV were tolerable but should have been fixed before renting. Don't the owners or housekeeping check these things?

Nice resort near Lincoln, NH. Attractive setting, good amenities including onsite restaurants, convenience stores and gift shops. Decor is a little dated, but our apartments was very comfortable and had a nice view. We would stay here again, in my opinion it’s a better option than Lincoln.

I showed up at 9 pm and never got my place. It was a fraudulent sale run through your website. The property manager couldn’t help me and your call center was no help either. I will make sure to tell everyone about how bad a experience I had.

Close to town square, needs some updating but amazing relaxing weekend Town square needs some work, 3 restaurants but close 9pm two closed for wedding party , which pushed out users of all condos out , nite life needs improvement, place to have drink relax ect.

Would not recommend staying here!
The room I stayed in was dated with a musty smell. There was no air conditioning in the room. The hotel was also short staffed. While I understand hotels have a hard time hiring coming out of the pandemic, I still expect adequate staff and amenities.

Excellent value. The resort was close to the Center. The property was well maintained. The rooms are all condo units. Our condo was very spacious and very clean. Many activities near by and onsite. Very child friendly. Definitely would return.

Facilities are beautiful and clean. Other condo units are more updated than others. We got an “older”model and had small TVs that needed to have the cable connected from staff to Spectrum Cable. The woman at the front desk was super helpful and friendly in this. My only complaint was the beds were very uncomfortable, and in one instance my daughter was yelled at by staff when being mistaken for someone else while walking to our room in the evening, which upset her a bit.

Not worth the price
Room 221 was dated, wallpapers peeling, duct tape holding seems together. Blinds filthy. Bed soft. Cabinets misaligned.

The room was extremely outdated. Nothing has been changed since the 1980's. All the furniture was at least 35 years old, very uncomfortable. I would not stay here again. The views were nice, bike and boat rentals were included for each day of your stay, which was nice. It's very far from everything, so if you plan on staying only at the resort, then it's ok. Beds were not very comfortable. I did like having a full kitchen and was able to prepare all of our meals at the lodge. But, not worth staying at again, not for the comfort.

definitely not what you see online..
The outside and Inside was absolutely beautiful. Staff was kind. The condo we rented was nothing like the pictures we saw online . What we thought we were getting was no where near what we got. We couldn’t find the Murphy bed because it was hidden behind furniture. So when we took it down we couldn’t sit in the living room. The bed was sharp metal around frame and almost every night and morning one of us hit our ankle on it. Shower is very low and I am 5’6 and had to bend down to use it. Other than these small issues it was an ok place to stay.

The staff at the hotel was very accommodating. The lobby is quite charming and you cannot get any closer to the town square.

Outside appearance is wonderful looking. Inside appearance is old outdated. Stains on all walls, floors and ceilings. Furniture and tables are overly worn out. Just not a comfortable cozy feel. Will definitely look into other places next time we come up to visit.

Nice hotel, lots of fun stuff to do
Everything was good. Service could have been better but overall not bad. It would be nice if they had a door man or someone to help with luggage. The doors do not stay open which makes it very tricky to move luggage cart through without help. Also unfortunate that there are no outdoor spaces attached to the rooms. It would have been nice to sit outside of my room on a patio or balcony on those beautiful NH summer nights.

I love the location... in Waterville Valley. Makes for a great and cheap non-winter vacation. Rooms are OK, a little old but in good condition. Bathroom is small and dated but meets needs and was clean. Pool and jacuzzis are very nice. If they only had an outdoor jacuzzi or outdoor pool like the Black Bear Lodge nearby, it would be an easy decision to come back. To be fair, most places in Waterville valley don’t Have a pool or jacuzzi. Oh, they include a Freedom Pass for everyone in your party! That was great!

Nice enough for our ski trip
We had a nice stay for our ski trip. The beds were not comfortable, but otherwise our unit was perfectly nice. A hockey tournament mean there were big groups of kids/parents staying in some rooms on our hall, and they had room parties which spilled out into the hall and were very loud. Lodge staff did not seem to address this at all. The pool was closed when we tried to use it, but looked nice enough.

Perfect location for the hockey tournam3m. Walk to the rink, food, main courtyard. I have zero complaints from my family of 4 and never heard a complaint from my kids, and that is saying something

Rooms were surprisingly large. Plenty of room for our family of 5 with 2 Bedrooms, a living room with pull out sofa, dining area and full kitchen. Very short walk to Town square with beautiful scenery along the way over a short bridge. Town center is small but has a few restaurants, bars, coffee shop, convenience store, and retail. Plenty for a few days vacation.

When we arrived there were older brown towels out for us to use in the bathroom. I looked under the sink and there was a set of beautiful white fluffy towels. Why not put those out? Wasn’t a big deal it was just odd.

Convenient Location
Golden Eagle lodge is centrally locates to Enjoy Waterville Valley. Spacious rooms - but ours was a little dated. Cable TV didn’t work too well and a few standard kitchen items weren’t present. Fine pool in the basement - great pool across the street which you have passes to. Very easy walk to food and shopping. Very easy drive to the ski mountain.

Loved that we stayed in a condo and had all the amenities of home. We even had a fireplace. The rooms were big and spacious and accommodated all 8 of us.
