I stayed at the Comfort Inn Watertown for two nights while on a girls shopping weekend. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. Lots of room to move around even when crowded with shopping bags. The location was good, and the free breakfast was a bonus. Simple but not fancy. We intended to use the pool facilities but time got away from us. We will definitely be back to stay again as the price was right for our simple needs.
I was very pleasantly surprised. I had to spend the night in Watertown on business, and booked this hotel because I had previously stayed in a Holiday Inn Express.
The front desk people were gracious and welcoming. "Sam" was particularly helpful when I asked for information.
Their free breakfast had quite a number of food items, hot and cold, and was presented in a clean, and constantly maintained setting.
Everyone here was friendly: from the front desk, to the breakfast room manager, to the young man who fixed my television. The room was exceptionally clean.
If/When I have to return to Watertown, this is where I will stay.

We were on a motorcycle ride and wanted a room that was close to resteraunts as well as being clean, comfortable and hopefully relaxing after a long day on the bikes. The Ramada was all and slightly more. Hotel is located across the road from the Salmon Run Mall and a very good steakhouse restaraunt - maybe more but we did not explore. After arriving and getting into our rooms, I discovered there was no fridge (as advertised) in my room. When i questioned some of the cleaning staff they told me that if I called the front desk they would be glad to deliver a fridge to my room. As we were only staying one night and had three rooms booked, i decided it was easier to just use one of my associates fridges. A bit of a disappointment that I would have had to call for fridge but minor for me in the long run.
First course of action was a hot shower after checking in...WOW! One of the best showers I have had! Lots of pressure and variable pulse shower head was extremely relaxing. The Bath/Shower also included a jet tub - which I took advantage of at the end of the night - and a steam bath - which I did not try.
Hotel includes a lounge with a very personable bartender - mixed a very fine Margarita - but also very friendly. After mentioning we were looking for taxi to take us to a restaurant - me with recent broken leg - bartender and front desk staff arranged for a free shuttle to and from the eatery of our choice.
For a one night stay... What more could one ask for?

We stayed one night, the hotel is just a simple, budget hotel good for truckers or those who are on the way to Thousand islands. There is nothing in the hotel, not even an ice maker. But the location is good and the hotel was recently renovated.
Located on the border between the US and Canada, Watertown is home to the New York State Zoo and the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds, where the Jefferson County Fair has its annual summer opening. Ottawa is accessible for daytrips at just a 2-hour drive from sites like Fort Drum and the historic, family-owned Crystal Restaurant, which has been operating since the 1930s.
