Things to note:
We are a cabin in the woods! We do our absolute best to keep the cabin clean and refreshing for our guests. We run the hot water on a tankless system - therefore sometimes causing a ‘cold water sandwich’ effect when in use. We use this system because it is the best for energy efficiency and we hope this doesn’t hinder your stay.

Please note this is our family cabin, it is not a hotel. Therefore this ‘cabin/home’ is lived in. We have hired cleaners that come in before each stay and after each stay to ensure cleanliness. But after all this is a cabin in the woods! I can guarantee that a fly or two can/will get inside. Please be mindful of this before booking, and know we do our best to keep all critters that could get inside, outside - and we hope you do the same during your stay! After all would a cabin be a cabin if there werent a few pesky flies that got in?! All in all, we do our best! But we are very rural.
Guest accommodations at this cabin offer fireplaces and DVD players. Rooms open to balconies. Kitchens offer refrigerators, stovetops, microwaves, and cookware/dishes/utensils. Bathrooms include showers.
The recreational activities listed below are available either on site or nearby; fees may apply.

Beautiful Cabin in the Woods
Our stay at this cabin was absolutely wonderful. It is in a beautiful location that makes your stay relaxing. Our group loved the overall cabin experience and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a cabin get away. Jalae was extremely quick to respond and helpful with all questions we had. It made for an amazing weekend!

Great Views
Very nice property with a very large and beautiful log home. It is very remote and somewhat difficult to find... even with directions and GPS. They mention a tankless hot water heater but we couldn't get hot water which wasn't a problem for us because we were only there for a couple days but a longer stay would certainly have been an issue. I would definitely recommend this place for a weekend getaway. Incredible views and a warm cozy cabin, what more could you want?

Summer get away
Overall this is a great log cabin that is definitely isolated. Beautiful views of Chief Mountain. It is located in a forested area so expect some bugs. If the weather is supposed to be hot, pack fans as it it gets quite hot in the cabin. Good fishing lake nearby and a fun river at Beezer to play in. Nice and clean water and very few people at the river so we went there several days. Kids loved it. We did have some plumbing issues with some black stuff coming from the tub taps and hot water was in and out, but it was manageable. Also the dishwasher leaked and the kitchen faucet stopped working during our stay. The owner was quick to react and sent a plumber out to fix the problem the next day. Overall, the trip was like being off the grid. We had basically no cell service (just in case that is important to you). There is wifi, but is limited as stated on rental page. There is a landline in the cabin if you had to call someone. The one thing we would have liked was having the grassy area near the fire pit cut as per pictures, so we could we could pass a ball around and play some outdoor games. The owner did let us know, after inquiry, it is normally maintained by a company, but due to covid wasn’t happening now. The fire pit was great and we enjoyed the walking the trails on the property. Also saw a family of deer two mornings in the yard. Overall, a few hiccups, but a nice getaway.

Great property. Amazing view and lots of wildlife around. Lots of room. The on demand system for water was somewhat disappointing as hot water fluctuate so much that it’s impossible to enjoy. No other complaints though 4.5/5. If your looking for a cabin that’s isolated this is the place.

Beautiful location and wonderful property for a family to enjoy together
We enjoyed this beautiful location near Waterton. The log cabin was wonderful for our family to enjoy after the Crypt Lake hike.
