The perfect place for your get away. Not only is this home conveniently located within eye-site of Lost Island Waterpark & Themepark, you will have your own oasis to enjoy while you stay. Access to the full home, with kitchen, laundry, and a backyard that you won't want to leave. Sitting on a large corner lot, you will have a wonderful deck/patio, large pool, hot tub, and more. Why pay for multiple hotel rooms, when the whole group can stay here?!

This quiet neighborhood is perfectly located. Walking distance to a Theme Park, Water Park, Casino, and golf course. Running in front of the property is also the Cedar Valley Nature Trail, which connects 50+ miles of bike trails from the Cedar Valley to Cedar Rapids. Other nearby amenities include shopping malls, dining, and nightlife. Easy access to nearby highways makes easy travel to the University of Northern Iowa and other nearby attractions.

Communication with the host was great, check in and out was very easy. It was a prefect place for my family to stay while attending the youth wresting tournaments. Unfortunately it was not summer time to enjoy the pool and hot-tub which are nice features for this place.

Mother nature threw a curve ball right before our stay. Host was dealing with some water damage due to power outage. We arrived after a 3 hour drive, only to find an empty pool. But Host Justin communicated the issue and he was on it, making sure he had the professionals there fixing everything and we were able to enjoy the pool and comfortable stay at this house. I now trust any future bookings with this host will go above and beyond our expectations. Thank you Justin and Kyle!

Our stay was practically perfect, but the pool and outdoor area (which we were the most excited about) were a little underwhelming. The pool was very cloudy and a light green color. There are many overgrown weeds next to the pool as well. The filter for the pool seemed to be broken, but luckily the robot vacuum worked. All in all I would recommend staying here but I don’t think that I would return.

Quiet Family Trip

Our overall experience at the Oasis was good, and I would come back if we visit Waterloo again. The location is pleasant, easy to get to attractions, and the house itself was as described. This is not going to be a luxurious property, and I think that is fine at the price point. Memorable parts of the home are the pool, deck, and many bedrooms that provide privacy during the stay. The house was clean, and had a reasonably well maintained interior. My only watch outs on the property: 1) There were missing remotes and remotes that didn't function with the TV they were near. In theory each bedroom had a Roku, but in practice it didn't work. Ideally there would be a more cohesive setup with the network. 2) The pool is definitely adequate, but the exterior is missing shade off the back. I think there is an opportunity for a future pergola or large retractable awning to help with sun exposure. Very good trip, and a fine place to stay. I think it's a great location if you intend to use the nearby casino, waterpark, and theme park.

90th Birthday Celebration

We found the booking, check-in, and check-out procedures so easy. The house was very clean with many extras. The location was quiet and yet close to much shopping as well as many restaurants and attractions. We will be looking at booking this same property in the future.
