Greenway stay

Everyone off the staff were lovely and could not have been more h helpful ABs accommodating. Weather was poor so didn’t get there exploring praise that I planned on my bike. Food at the hotel was great.

Amazing

Absolutely beautiful experience, the hotel is absolutely stunning and the level of cleanliness is well above the stars available to give I work in a hotel myself and cannot fault the manor at all. It is amazing cozy warming and the staff are unbelievably friendly and catering can’t wait to return already thank you all & a special thanks to Sharon for her kindness and welcoming

This hotel is simply stunning and teeming with history. When you enter the beautiful long tree-lined driveway, you know this place is special. We had an amazing family room that was huge! There is a bar at the hotel, ample parking and great food. We had a breakfast that was a feast included with the price of our booking. Well worth it. This hotel is a little out of the center of town, but we highly recommend it if you want to feel like royalty for your stay.

The building and grounds are GORGEOUS. Breakfast was delightful in a very well-appointed dining room. Some of the original structure is still exposed, like a giant fireplace, which just adds to the ambiance. Two downsides: 1) The noise at night was horrendous. There was a party that went what seemed like all night long, with banging in the kitchen, raised voices, slamming doors. Ask if they are hosting a party before booking! 2) The shower was barely a trickle of water. It was very hard to use effectively.

Overpriced

Well this hotel is way overpriced for service you get information said food availability is to 9pm arrive just after 830 told kitchen closed.so only option is drinks bar. Staff where either playing on phone or outside socializing with other staff ,many quests waited long periods to be served or left,nibbles available at bar where not stocked as run out same as soda water ...carpet in breakfast area is so dirty and gaps between carpet

Hidden gem

The location was great and the staff was very friendly. Our room was great, really big which was great as we have a 1 year old so he was able to crawl around all over the place. Overall all the room was perfect.

Nice hotel in the countryside. Next to Waterford although you will need a car. Family room big with confortable beds. Bathroom adecuate but a bit old (a remodelation would be welcome). Breakfast excelent. Good election!

Amazing this was a second choice when the hotel to which we received a recommendation was full. We do not see how the other hotel could have been better.

Surprised but not in a nice way!

Definitely a surprise when staying here….and NOT in a good way. There are so many issues with this overpriced hotel, which should be more of a guest house at best. I’ll name a few, however it really is just a few as don’t want to completely sound as though I’m a serial complainer!! Super warm room with no a/c or fan. I had to borrow the one from reception at 3am. Even so the room temp stayed at 23.5° Unable to leave the room window open due to the severe smell from stagnant water outside. Mismatched worn out furniture. Dirty carpets Light bulbs missing from bathroom and main room. Unmanned reception. When we did find someone they moaned that they’re doing the job of four people. Super over priced. Will stop now as don’t want to spoil anything you may want to moan about if ever you stay there (god knows why you would!)

The room was clean. The beds were clean and comfortable. We received great check in attention. The hotel and stay was very nice. The water pressure was a bit weak, so ringing was a bit long. The night we were there, there was a very festive party in the banquette area. It was a bit load; but not so disturbing - the music was good! Happy 21st Birthday!!

Horrible service for an updated hotel!

I never give any reviews but this was one of the worse expirience I ever had in a hotel. I had to wait nearly 1 hour for check in but also for check out and I was the only one waiting. Breakfast was not bad but it took nearly 45 Minutes to get it served. Employees were dressed like they want to go to the gym. 181 Euros for a "nice looking hotel" but horrible service. The only good thing were the Ukrainians who helped me searching for the one employer who was running the whole restaurant/bar and the rest of the hotel himselve. Its a shame for this nice location.

Entered room + turned 3 lights on. The phone did not work. Busy circuit signal, no dial tone. Had to go down to the lobby to ask how the thermostat worked. Went back to the room and the lights were out. Phone still not working. Went back to lobby and asked manager to come with me. She jiggled the light switch and one light came on after 30 seconds. A minute later another light flickered several times and turned on. Manager was unable to adjust the thermostat. Said she would be back in 15 minutes. Returned 30 minutes later with the maintenance guy. He said light flickering is normal. I asked the mgr about the busy circuit sound on the phone. She said that’s normal. I requested a different room and the mgr said she couldn’t do that because all she had left was an upgraded room which we did not pay for. Mgr said there is no ac only heat. Said she would bring a fan but never did. At 1:30 am I woke up because my cpap machine quit working. No power, no lights, no phone. I jiggled the light switch for a few minutes and the power came on. The next morning checking out. Same mgr asked how was the night. Not very good I replied. The power went out again. I woke up in the middle of the night + couldn’t breath because my cpap machine quit. It’s black dark, no lights and the phone didn’t work. Her reply was “I don’t know why the power didn’t work”. No apology, no offer of a refund, just a fake smile and she said “we will see you next time”.This hotel is a real FIRE HAZARD. I want a refund

Its a fairly average hotel. The thing that sets it apart is the friendly and kind staff. From the Chef (Phily is amazing and Ian is great) to the servers (Riana and Elizabeth) to the Bar Tenders (Dean and Podrick know their stuff), interacting with them was the best part of our stay!
