Black mold in bath. Drain in tin wouldn’t hold water. Smoke detector hanging, brackets on wall without a picture, busted out windows & screens visible from parking area, halls/stairs from side entrances filthy. Bedside lamp did not work, bedding was threadbare, bed lumpy and concave, and no extra blanket. I could go on…

We got to our room through dirty hallways and the room was just as disgusting. We immediately told them we were leaving. Since booked through expedia our room was not credited. We stayed at a VERY nice Crown Plaza!!

There was kids running around the hotel unsupervised like maybe they lived there . It looked like a halfway house for drug addicts. The police was there at 2 different incidences that I saw. Plus dogs barking at all different times of the day .

**Faded Elegance with Room for Improvement** I recently stayed at this hotel, a place that once exuded charm and top-notch service. Unfortunately, my experience revealed that the hotel has seen better days, particularly when compared to its pre-COVID prime. Cleanliness was a noticeable issue. The rooms, while not filthy, lacked the meticulous attention to detail that used to be a hallmark of this establishment. Dust in corners and a less-than-pristine bathroom were disappointing. The amenities have also taken a hit. Previously, the hotel boasted a range of facilities, but many are now either closed or poorly maintained. The once-vibrant pool area felt neglected, and the fitness center had outdated equipment. Service, while still polite, lacked the enthusiasm and attentiveness of the past. The staff seemed stretched thin, and the personalized touch that made stays here special was missing. However, it's important to note that the hotel is priced accordingly. For the cost, it remains a decent option, particularly for those who prioritize budget over luxury. The essential functions of the hotel are intact, but it's clear that its best days are behind it. In summary, it is not super awful, but it no longer matches the high standards it once set. For those with fond memories of its former glory, the decline is evident. Yet, for the price, it still offers a reasonable stay, albeit without the shine it once had.

If I could upload photos I would. This place is trash. Literally, a horrible smelling trash bag left in the hallway. The room was disgusting. The tub had black all over it, what appeared to be deqd skin in the tub.. air conditioning did not work, elevators did not work. Was moved to another room. No working air. Stains on the bedding... cigarette and weed stench . The only positive i can give was the woman at the front desk was very nice and apologized. Recieved a refund and left asap. It appears all the drug addicts of waterford have found a new place.

The first room that I was given was dirty, I took pictures and showed the receptionist. I was switched to a different room which was clean. For the price that they charge it was horrible

Halls and entrance lobby were filthy. Trash and food remnants on the floor along with muddy footprints. Loud rooms with doors propped open. Pool inconveniently not open in morning for exercise yet open until 11 at night and available to anyone off the street willing to pay $10. Room was at least mostly clean but furniture old and beat up. 1980s jetted tub I didn’t try. Terrible and won’t be back.

Strike plate was missing, so the door could be pushed in and anyone with a screwdriver could have broken in. It was missing the secondary security latch lock on the inside of the door. Wasn’t very clean anywhere at this hotel.

Do not stay here. Emergency door broken, smoke detector taped up, air conditioner in room fell apart while we slept. Trash in hallway. Shower head sprayed everywhere. Partying all night. Absolute nightmare and no help.

Absolutely disgusting. Smelled of smoke and animals, floors filthy, several men standing around in the hallways with seemingly no place to be and for no reason. Front staff rude and extremely unhelpful. Didn’t even make it into our room because I felt unsafe, not to mention the barking dogs.

the smell of pot was so prevalent in the halls. It was a horrible walk to get to our room at the end of the hall even though it was supposed to be non smoking area. The room was nice and it was clean. It was a safe area to stay.

We had to change rooms 3 times before we got an acceptable room. The first room smelled, hair in the freezer, holes in the wall, cigarette burns on the bedding, lights didn’t work in the bathroom, poop in the toliet, and wires hanging where the smoke detector shoukd have been. Room #2 smell, holes in the walls, what looked like a blood spot and cigarette burns on the bedding. Room #3 was better, not great, but okay. We were tild that the owners have only owned the hotel for a few months, very limited staff, and the first ywo rooms were not even supposed to be rented out. I was ready to change hotels and be out the money since it was non-refundable.

Front desk guy was helpful, beds were nice and water pressure in tub was great, however, security mindied people would not like the place. Very insecure, we make our own blockade of the door but for normal traveler, not secure or safe. Very dingy, corners were dirty, paint peeling. very outdated. Exterior doors didnt lock and door lock inside had already been kicked in before. Tent got stolen in 10 minutes just 2 miles down street.

The bed was so hard and rough , it looked very dirty.. very old looking inside the room… the jacuzzi was dirty around the knobs it was a very unpleasant experience

I reserved a room with a king size bed and jetted bathtub. When I arrived and checked in I had to sign paperwork that stated a different price (an amount less than I paid on the app) strange but didn't think much of it. When I got to my room it was not the room that I had reserved and paid for. Not a king size bed with jetted bathtub. It was two queen beds. Went down to the front desk with my phone to explain that I didn't book this room. I was told that they were all out of the rooms that I had reserved and paid for. Confused to how this happens when I already paid for the room. The hotel room was not very clean. Dusty, bathtub in the bathroom was missing part of the side, paint flaking of the ceiling in the bathroom, air-conditioner/heater was dirty. Just overall not a clean or well maintained hotel. Will not be staying there again.

Room allocated was full of smoking smell. And has furniture that was simply disgusting. When I called front desk to complaint, the staff member was extremely rude. The next morning the manager helped me and my issues were resolved.

The first room was cold, the heater was putting out cold air. They moved us from a king room to 2 doubles. That heater was coming off the wall and they had to tape it so the cold air wouldn’t come through. Very disappointed.

Pulling up to hotel- it looked sketchy. Right when you walk in it didnt look bad, then getting in the elevator- i was afraid id die it- it was so outdated & rickety. Walking to the room- they tried to do upgrades but you could tell it was w/the poorest quality/cheapest flooring & the floor was wavey. The room smelled funny, a cheap matress, they gave you 4 couch pillow sized pillows, & a sheet & what looked like a thin curtain for a bedspread- it was dirty & im pretty sure the sheets werent changed in between stays. Lesson learned - you get what you pay for- the only positive was convenience of the location for me. I did survive tho & didnt bring home any bedbugs so theres that.

While we thank you for your feedback, we are a limited service budget hotel we do our best to keep an affordable rate and keep a comfy hotel and yes the elevator sounds rickety, but it is serviced. We absolutely clean our rooms between every stay, as you know the linens are used by other guests, so we cannot throw them away after every use, there is a chance that they might have a small stain (even tho we bleach them, makeup stains are hard to remove, so again we bleach them and sometimes twice, occasionally you might see shadows) You can request a different set of towels and we are happy to change them out for your during the day anytime, and at night if you come to the front desk, you can again switch them out, but you will need to give us old ones to switch. We do not want to lose your business and we are under new management (Amy) and she is performing random and regular audits of our hotel and our rooms, She would be happy to help anytime. Yes we are happy that you survived. Best of luck in your future travels.

Room was large, nice jetted tub in the bathroom. It was a great stay especially for the price, it was discounted from 85 to 55 for the night. The only disappointing thing was the coffee was weak and there were no other amenities for breakfast. Not even creamer… just coffee, cups and lids it was weird. No stirrers or spoons either.
