"The hotel was not what we were expecting from the website. It was in a poor area and appeared rather run down. We were expecting a restaurant but was told on arrival that it is closed in the winter, breakfast only. However the owner took pity on us and provided a three course meal in our room which was very good. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Owner was very nice but we will not be using this hotel again."

"This is a beautiful hotel near the heart of Strasbourg. The view from our room along the canal was from a postcard! We never ate at the hotel (the meals did look fantastic, although pricey) since there was so many lovely local restaurants within a 30 second to 5 minute walk. We did use the spa area (I love the steam room) and gym a couple times. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel and surrounding area is very safe. If i had to nitpick for one improvement, the room got warm when we shut the windows (there can be a bit of noise a little late outside and early in the mornings) as the air-conditioning did not help much. Overall, this is a high end property that I definitely recommend."

"An absolutely lovely accommodation, the concierges were very pleasant and helpful and directed us to several amazing restaurants and shopping. The dining room had excellent food and drinks and the service was exemplary. "

"Short walk to train station made staying at this hotel an easy choice, particularly since we had an early train to Paris to catch. Always felt safe but there were street people around. Most of the trendier night life and shopping is about a 10 to 20 minute walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was great—clean and spacious. Would certainly stay again "

"Hotel was good as was location. Parking wasn’t available as had to be pre-booked. Parked on the street along from hotel. Bathroom could have been cleaner "

"After taking walking tours for eight days, we were pretty tired and our feet were sore. Being able to sit back in the pool/spa was a welcome relief. The hotel included spa robes and slippers which greatly enhanced the experience. It was worth every penny to stay there!"
"Fun vibe hotel. The room was configured a bit strange but it worked for our family of 5. The decor was fun and the beds were comfortable. Staff was nice and the location of the hotel was amazing. Everything we needed and all the tourist spots were within a short walk.
Only negative was parking and driving. We found a spot off site but securing that and also trying to find the hotel and drivable streets was a challenge. "
"Great spot for one night. Located close to the train station and all the sites within walking distance. Staff was great and the kids loved the hotel bunny. "
