"We came just to get away for the weekend and had the most wonderful time! This was exactly the home-away-from-home we were looking for. We were warm, comfortable, and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The beds were comfortable, the shower was hot and spacious, and the kitchen had all the equipment we needed to prep and cook all of our meals. JD was so nice and very responsive when we contacted him and we can't wait to come back in the spring!"

"Loved the stay! Beautiful place with plenty of space for our large group. Kitchen was supplied with all we needed. They even had a mama moose and her two babies at the pond when we arrived!"

"First off the place matched the pictures exactly. Plenty of seating for large gatherings, both upstairs, downstairs, inside and out. If there’s an appliance or utensil you need it’s there. The place is well, well stocked they even had multiple heavy jackets, gloves, and hats, including some boots for the guest to use. There was even a cabinet full of games and puzzles for large groups. If I was going to stay in Alaska again with a large group, I wouldn’t hesitate to use this place."

"Clean, quiet neighborhood, great space and plenty of parking. My family and I were moving out of state and stayed here while tying up some loose ends. It’s wonderful that we were to have our family of 4 and our pup with us during this transition. We were still close to everything and enjoyed this home very much."

"We fell in love with Wasilla and the ease of getting anywhere from the house. It was still an easy drive to Anchorage to check out top attractions and look for moose. This home is a short ride to several lovely trails and lakes and is on a quiet dead end street. Host was easy to reach with quick response when I reached out.
