"The surrounding area was a not good if you are a single female. I witnessed homelessness, most places are closed and dark, on Dauphin street at night there were some places to eat but getting there on foot alone was not an option, there were also cars that been broken into and the stripped car parts were left on the sidewalk. the only food choices are in the hotel and the consisted of the 1 restaurant and coffee shop that all gets a little old."

"The rooms were basic but comfortable and clean. The front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. "

"My only complaint is that if you have a dog where you have to walk dogs a cat colony lives. These cats are fed by neighborhood residents. These cats do not care that you are walking a dog or driving a car. It is their home and you need to deal with it. Thank goodness my German Shepherd is not reactive."

"The hotel was very clean and convenient to food and shopping. Our room had a nice view of Mobile Bay which was very nice. Breakfast was great and the customer service was even better. 10/10 recommend! "
