This Westin is my/our Go To place when in Alexandria. Staff is always ready to receive us; the area is "nice" with multiple eating facility in walking distance (don't miss out to dine at Delia's --- the place looks a bit like the middle of the road however, the food is great (one of the best grilled octopus around and always asked for the fish of the day!). Equally there is a movie theater in walking distance as well as a Wholefoods. The place is easily accessible of I 495/95 or from the Alexandria train station. ONE THING though: Schedule your pick Valet Car pick-up; it may take 10 minutes.

Staff were all polite, helpful and cheerful. Property in great shape. Two complaints: 1. For an upscale hotel, the toilet paper was very thin, flimsy stuff. A small issue, but annoying. 2. I use a power wheelchair, and my van has computer controls that mean a valet cannot park it (not unless they first had a couple hours of training). Unfortunately, that meant my wife couldn't park there. Luckily, we were visiting our daughter and parked the van at her nearby apartment building. But this meant running back and forth to get the van and drop it off at night.

The room looks nice and the bed is comfortable. But the heating is super noisy, the tub does not hold water (only showers for you!), and the robe is not a bath robe, but a worn out lounge robe.

Best hotel stay ever
This is one of the best stay I have ever had in a hotel. We arrived early by 11.30am and we were allowed to check in and they even granted a late check out request. Very beautiful property in an awesome location. Breakfast was great, staff polite , room so neat and comfy. I would do this again and again. 10/10

We had some issues with no cold water coming out of the faucets in both the shower and the sink. We had to be careful not to burn ourselves until we could adjust the temperature.

Great experience just one little thing
Great stay everything was wonderful except the house keeper knocking on each door around 9am asking everyone what time they were checking out. I was confused since checkout was at 12 m. Luckily I was up but my neighbor was not. Definitely will stay again though. If you do stay, place the do not disturb sign out immediately.

The Westin was very clean and comfortable!! The staff was super friendly and helpful!! It was a short walk to the metro and an easy walk to shops and restaurants. We love the fact that it also has a restaurant onsite that we used when the weather was bad and we didn't feel like going out.

IT WAS OK.
THE FRONT DESK WAS INPATIENT WITH ME LOCATING MY ID. MY TV DIDNT WORK IN THE ROOM, BUT SOMEONE CAME TO FIX IT. ROOM SERVICE CAME TO CLEAN THE ROOM. I DECLINED SERVICE BUT THEY STILL HAD TO COME INTO MY ROOM AND "CHECK IN" ON MY PHONE. I WISH THEY STAYED OUT OF MY ROOM DURING MY STAY.

Had a great stay. Staff was attentive and courteous. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Love that check out is at noon. Be aware of the $40 charged for valet parking. It’s not included in the hotel booking charge.

Friendly and quick check in Charlotte was very helpful. Room was clean had view of roof to nearby building refrigerator did not work. Water pressure and rain shower were great. Housekeeping was amazing and helpful. On final night restaurant closed early without notification. Had to go out in search of food after a long day. The breakfast at the restaurant was tasty and the staff were great.
