The Neighborhood: You can't choose a better location - the quiet street is easy walking distance to the bustling nightlife of the H St Corridor and NoMa and boasts a 95% "Walk Score" which deems us a "walkers paradise" from a reputable source! Guests can stroll to the United States Capitol Building in under 30 minutes, and stroll to the hub of the major sights - Union Station - in 15\. The food mecca that is Union Market is also within walking distance, not to be missed! Also there's some great shopping opportunities with lots of new pop-up stores around the entrepreneurial Union Market scene, REI's flagship store and all the shopping inside Union Station. You are also just a short stroll from the most popular bars and restaurants in the city. From live music, comedy, improv, and stage plays, those interested in the arts or just looking to see something new will not be disappointed! Getting Around: No need for a car, you can walk or metro to everything. Nearby Uber and Lyft rides are plentiful (and we provide coupon codes for both services) as well as Capital Bikeshares / Jump (Uber's scooter and bike service) surrounding the neighborhood - bike the monuments for a cinematic experience unlike any other! The D.C. Streetcar and several buses can whisk guests all over the city. The stop is a 5 minute stroll from the apartment. The owners live upstairs and were very friendly when they were sitting out on their porch. Would have been nice to have some outdoor space , although you can sit on the steps down to the unit. There are numerous restaurants available on H Street but truthfully we were a little disappointed with this due to so many storefronts not filled. If you walk up 4th street a little further there are additional selections of restaurants and breweries. Thank you for a wonderful time in DC. ##### Shelley M. Great location, close to good food. Within reasonable distance to Capital, Mall, etc. Scooters/bikes are at almost every corner to make things even easier. Very close to metro station. We hopped on a caught the Braves & Nationals game in Navy Yard and arrived within minutes. Very easy access to just about anything you wanna do whether you are walking, using bikes, or catching the train. Host was incredibly quick at responding. 10/10 recommend! The place was also well stocked with basically anything you would need - including tampons for the ladies who forgot to bring extra😅 the place was very clean and we’d stay here again if we find ourselves visiting DC again. ##### Tara W. Property was just as advertised. Great location - walking distance to eateries and grocery stores. Property was very clean. Did not have any issues or need to reach out to hosts. The bed and pillows are magical. I need to buy that mattress and those pillows for our home! The only thing I wish the property would have had is either a ceiling fan or fan in the bedroom to circulate the air. Love that they had a noise control machine and ear plugs that you can use. That really helped me sleep. The property is fully stocked with everything you need. I appreciated the hangers and steamer. The coffee pods for the Keurig and the Keurig itself topped it off for me! We were looking for a place that we could park our car and then use public transportation for the rest of our stay and not stay far outside DC. It was so nice not to pay $50/night for parking like most hotels in the city. We also wanted a place where we could fix our own meals. This was the perfect spot for us! Parking and check-in was simple. It was the perfect size for our family (2 adults and 2 pre-teens). Very clean. Great kitchen. Never really heard the owners upstairs. Less than a 10-minute walk to the NoMA metro. Close to several grocery options. Felt safe the entire time.
