The property was perect. Beautiful decor and plenty of room. It is centrally located to the Capitol, Smithsonian, convention center and delicious restaurants. This is a fabulous property located minutes from downtown DC. Check-in was easy and communication with the owner was great. Lots of upgrades in this home make it truly feel like the "Retreat" that is advertised. The only issue we had was the master bedroom on the top floor never cooled off. They did have a fan in there which helped, but it was still very hot. We were there during a heat wave, so I'm guessing it's not always that hot. We were so fortunate to find this location. The pictures don’t capture the charm of the home and we were pleasantly surprised! Our host, Cherrye, was fantastic. She was responsive from the initial booking and throughout our stay. The house is fantastic. We had so many positive responses from our family and friends.
