It\`s a cute and colorful space with a fully stocked kitchen, very comfortable queen bedrooms and modern bathroom. It is also just a few minute metro, drive, or uber to all of DC’s main monuments. With popular bars and restaurants just a short walk away, this apartment\`s 600 sq. ft. 2-bedroom, 1-bath layout is ideal for a weekend getaway. PLEASE NOTE: This English basement apartment is a subterranean unit with private front and rear entrance, and there is a fully separate 3 bedroom / 1.5 bathroom unit above. Please check our profile if you\`re interested in renting the upstairs unit, or the combined 5 bedroom house. Due to the proximity of units we require quiet hours after 10PM, if you have any issues we are just a message away! There is access to a shared rear patio behind the home via the rear door. I give my guests space but am available when needed. I am here for you during your stay, but our level of interaction is up to you. I\`m only a phone call/message away. You will be able to check yourselves in upon arrival with your own key code which works on both the front and rear door lock. Two of Washington DC\`s most talked about new restaurants are on the same block as the townhouse. Call Your Mother is famous for their amazing bagels and sandwiches. Tabla offers amazing Georgian inspired cuisine from their award winning chef. Located in the Columbia Heights area 10 min. away from the National Mall, Smithsonian and Downtown DC. Ideal for tourists who love to dine, explore nightlife and sightseeing. (Green and Yellow Lines). Parking: There is free 2 hour parking in front of the home during the daytime, and at night parking is free from 6:30PM until 9AM the next morning. Weekend guests can park for free on the street from 6:30PM on Friday until 9AM on Monday. For dedicated parking spots with guaranteed availability, we recommend a parking app like SpotHero (also available on the web). It helps you find close parking spaces at discounted prices in garages or surface lots. House Rules: • Guests located within a 50-mile radius of Washington, D.C. require pre-approval before booking. Reservation made without pre-approval will be subject to cancellation per guest\`s Cancellation Policy. • Guest must complete pre-arrival ID verification including damage protection selection via our digital guest portal • No parties, pre-games, or events. Visitors are limited to one to two close friends or family members. • DC Noise Ordinance: Quiet hours are in effect from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM Monday to Sunday.
