The home was exceptionally clean, offered all the necessary creature comforts, and surprised us with uncommon, but very much appreciated accommodations and features. Highlights for our group were the spacious couch and massive, backlit TV; the fully-equipped kitchen with every tool and appliance needed for most any type of cooking; well-stocked restrooms with access to laundry (with detergent and dryer sheets provided as well); the secluded backyard with an included hot tub spa; and the private, restful bedrooms that made for a perfect place to recharge after a busy Capital day. Though not in the perfect center of town, the home is barely a 10 minute walk from Union Station, where a brief Metro ride gives access to all there is to do in the heart of DC. What was best accessible from this rental were the cozy and vibrant Near Northeast neighborhood, the DC streetcar, and the awe-inspiring National Arboretum.
