Under DC parking regulation a maximum of 2 hour street parking is available Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday there are no parking restrictions. DC does issue parking tickets if in violation of the parking restrictions.  
  
.Additional Information  
•The Yards Park is a great place to play and picnic. It hosts weekly outdoor movies (on Thursdays) in the summer and weekly (on Fridays) live music events from May - August.  
• Eastern Market is a famous institution it is open 6 days a week as a famous historic market that hosts a baker, a fishmonger, a butcher, a florist, a grocer among other shops, but on the weekends, it hosts an outdoor farmers market, a huge flea market, and an artist's market - an amazing place to explore, people watch, and venue to discover great finds, great foods, and great non-traditional souvenirs and gifts.  
• We are also within biking, jogging, metro, or walking distance from the award winning Results Gym, Capitol Hill that is in a converted historic school. If you want to keep your workout routine while on vacation or on an extended stay, access can be arranged at cost. The gym has multiple classes, award winning locker rooms with dry and wet sauna and jacuzzi, a rock-climbing wall, extensive free weights and machines, and basketball and racket ball courts.  
  
Disclosure: A couple lives in the unit above and though well insulated, some noise is audible between floors (not voices or music but sometimes footsteps).

Beautiful location. Great area. Very close to the capital all the museums jump on a bus or train. Be there in 10 minutes or a car. The apartment is very nice with the one bedroom and a nice kitchen along with a nice dining room.

The apartment was fantastic. Clean, well organized, well stocked, and comfortable. The decor was simple but reflective of the city. We spent little time there as we toured the city by foot and Uber, but its central location made visiting the city a breeze. There’s a great little back patio where we enjoyed a few cups of coffee, which the host was kind enough to provide. The washer and dryer were a great convenience. In all reality, if we had any complaints, it would be that the bathroom door was a bit tough to open and close, but that’s it.If we ever return to DC, we would love to stay here again.

Apartment was clean & comfortable, and in a great location. Convenient metro stations within 10 mins walk. Also could walk to Capitol in 30 mins. Lovely to have laundry facilities in the apartment. Bring insect repellent and bite cream as mosquitoes are an issue.

We had a great stay! The basement unit was very clean and well-kept, with a brand new bathroom that felt fresh and modern. The neighborhood is quiet and safe: I felt completely comfortable going for a walk every morning. Parking was free and easy, which made things very convenient. The host was fantastic, welcoming, and responsive throughout my stay. The main bed was comfortable and made for a good night’s sleep. The sofa bed is fine for a night or two, but if you’re planning a longer stay, you may find it less comfortable. Overall, it was a cozy, safe, and convenient place to stay. I would definitely stay here again!"

#### Weekend Stay in Garden Apartment 

The property manager was extremely communicative and forth coming about what to expect in terms of the property to include checking in. Every convenience for the stay was considered including resources about where to eat in the area, wifi connections and ample towels. I was really impressed by the experience.

#### Family trip to DC

My wife and I traveled to DC to meet up with my adult daughter that lives in NYC (she took the train down). Although we had some initial difficulty getting into the property, we were delighted with the place, the area, and all of the recommendations that were provided. It is conveniently located a couple of blocks from the Metro stop and we found it easy to get around all areas of DC. Communication and assistance from the property host was great and if we get a chance to visit DC again we will certainly stay here! I feel like our host went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and felt at home.

#### DC Getaway

We chose this property for its proximity to public transportation (Metro station) and restaurants. We were not disappointed! Street parking available, and we used the Metro for most of our adventures. Great area to walk to restaurants and shopping. Property was perfect for 4 adults to stay comfortably. Quiet neighborhood.

We really enjoyed staying at Capitol Hill. We had a bus stop at the end of the block and the subway was just a short walk away. Our host was able to accommodate our hybrid plug-in van and she was quick to give us our entrance details once I reached out to her. We had a total of four staying here. The hideaway bed was perfect for my kids but be aware that there isn’t a dinning table. There are only three bar stools so my husband and I needed to stand and eat, or fold up the bed every morning. Not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would recommend this spot to others.

#### Great Location and Great Property

My husband and I stayed here for our 8 day DC vacation. Loved the proximity to the Potomac Metro station and the restaurants on Barracks Row. The accommodations were comfortable and were exactly as represented. If we travel to DC again I would not hesitate to book this unit again! If you are unsteady on your feet, just be very careful going down the stairs into the unit. I am the queen of clumsy, though, and I was able to navigate them. Although my husband did have to help me with my suitcase when we arrived and departed the unit. If you are foodies, I highly recommend Little Pearl located about four blocks away for a wonderful chef’s tasting menu.

A couple hiccups, but property owner always answered back promptly.People renting above us were noisy. No fault of property owner. Something else when turned on up stairs was noisy downstairs. Overall nice, but probably would rent upstairs next time

Getting into the apartment is tricky as the lock box is difficult to manipulate. I also found it to be rather dark no doubt to the fact that it is a basement apartment. Brighter light bulbs in the lamps would help.It is clean and modern looking.

What a GREAT stay! As good as advertised or even better! The location was fantastic with the ability to walk or Uber/taxi anywhere. Even the furthest away sites were quick and easy to get to! Amenities were just like being at home. The communication was exemplary and the support and suggestions for things to do was so appreciated. Hands down would stay here any time I visit!
