Beautiful Perfectly Located 2BR Condo For Two International Students or Interns.

I am renting my newly renovated high end 2 bedroom condo with a beautiful deck for two International Students and/or Interns. It is just a short stroll to the Capital, National Mall and Union Station! It is located in one of Washington's historic neighborhoods lined with classic architecture and steps away from Lincoln Park, public transportation, and Bike rentals. You'll love the area and enjoy a quiet stay while being in the center of everything DC has to offer. I will do my best to accommodate you the best that I can during your stay. The home combines classic DC architecture with comfortable modern furniture. You'll have fast WiFi and a nice HDTV to enjoy.
Getting Around - You could not ask for better access! The condo is a 20 minute drive to Reagan National Airport and a 5 minute drive to Union Station (Amtrak). It's also a short Uber ride to anywhere in the city.
We have a strict no party policy.

DC trip

This property was the perfect size in the perfect location. There is a bus stop right across the street so you didn’t have to walk blocks after you were exhausted from a day of exploring. The balcony was huge and wonderful. We would sit out there every morning with coffee and usually in the evenings with a drink. All the neighbors we encountered were very friendly, this area is a popular area for dog owners so we loved that. Daniel was amazing and provided some really nice restaurant and activity recommendations. He reached out before we got there because we were running late and kept in contact just kind of checking on us and then he also called after we had made it back home to check in again. I highly recommend this property for a small family or group of friends.

Family Vacation

We had a great stay. The property was perfect for what we needed. Plenty of towels and everything we needed. The outdoor balcony patio was an added bonus. My only complaint was that I had no communication with the property manager from the property manager. I had to call him hours before our arrival to get check in information to get access to the property. I wish I would have received an email with access codes and wifi passwords and any other info we could have needed the day before we arrived.

Great Location

This was a great location for our work in Capital Hill. It is a nice space, a nice neighborhood, and relatively close to food, grocery, and entertainment. Our purpose was for work and we were within 8 minutes to the Capital. It worked out well and would stay again.

Perfect location

Our trip to DC involved being able to use public transportation. This property was perfect. It was a mile from the Metro station and there was a grocery store about 3/4 of a mile away. The Metro ride was quick. In just a few stops we were at the National Mall. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant. The rental was clean. It had all the basic appliances. Dishes, pots & pans were minimal. For our purposes the location was key and this property fit the bill!

Great location, clean, but needs some amenities

The apartment is in a central location to the capitol and the metro station. The neighborhood for us was cute, friendly, and safe. The apartment is clean, beds were comfortable. The host is easy to get in touch with and helpful. Kitchen is lacking in basic items like a cutting board, colander for draining pasta, and a large sheet pan would have been nice. Not sure the host expects guests to cook much while visiting. We made do and were able to cook two family dinners during our stay. Since we stayed a week in D.C., it was nice having a washer and dryer to do laundry while there. Overall all our needs were met but I would recommend this apartment for short stays.

Apartment is as described and well laid out, which is difficult to capture in photos. I agree w/ previous reviewers that a more complete set of cookware and glassware is needed, and with the reviewer who noted the lack of noise reduction from the windows. White noise phone app and earplugs are in order for light sleepers! The outdoor space was nice, although too chilly for us to use during unseasonable cold late March.

Great stay

Although we only live about 2.5 hours away, it was our first time as a family going to DC. Our goal was to stay somewhere that was close enough to walk to the capital and give our kids a sense of what it would be like to live in or around the capital. This place was pretty much perfect for that. We ate some meals out, but also had a breakfast and dinner at the apartment. Probably our only suggestion for improvement would be to have a better equipped kitchen. There wasn’t a full set of plates or cups so we had to be creative, and certainly not equipped to really make a meal. We brought our own cast iron skillet which made it possible. Otherwise it was clean and modern, and was a great place for us to have as a home base for our exploration. It isn’t close to a metro stop, but maybe close to bus stops- it was a 20 minute walk to the capital building, which we did several times. Overall, great place and we stay again.

Welcoming in DC

This space is way better in person than the listing. It is very beautiful on the inside & out. Great care was taken in creating such a welcoming space. We definitely felt at home. It’s convenient to all things in downtown DC. I’d most definitely stay here again!

Very pleasant host

The condo was beautiful and nicely renovated. The upstairs balcony was a BIG plus! The host was attentive and very pleasant. He checked in throughout the visit and gave excellent customer service. Would definitely recommend for a small party and would definitely stay again!

great place to stay. property manager opened the place up two hours before check in for me. great deck space for relaxing. we came out for the football team season opener. we didn’t have a great bearing on the city. 20 min walk to the metro at eastern market. that’s on us not on the property. great place to stay.

Family trip to DC

Our family stayed for two nights while doing a trip to the DC monuments and museums. The apartment was great-clean, nice neighborhood. Daniel was very friendly and accommodating. My only recommendation would be a better stocked kitchen-it would have been difficult to do a whole lot of cooking if I had intended to. The parking was a little challenging-but I think that is just DC in general, not specific to the condo). Overall, great couple of days-would recommend!

GREAT place!

I stayed here for 4 nights with my daughters for our summer vacation. Daniel, the owner, is a great person. Very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect. Close to the Capitol and Supreme Court, we biked there it was so close. Will stay again when I visit DC

Family Get Away

The property is in a really great neighborhood. H St is a short walk away with lots of interesting restaurants. The DCMetrocar runs along H St to Whole Foods, Giant Market and CVS. The west end of the line is Union Station where you can catch a circulator bus for the mall or hop on the red line metro and explore the city further. Lyft and cabs to the capital are a short drive. Property manager is accommodating, friendly and responsive.

Property and neighborhood was excellent overall

We enjoyed the property. Clean and well maintained. It is nit suitable for those with mobility issues (we were fine) due to the very steep and narrow stairs. There is little swing room at the landing for the door opening & carrying in luggage. The sleeper couch in the LR was very uncomfortable and flimsy for one of our guests. I would suggest investing in a real sleeper or futon. Tbe shower was excellent and the kitchen is great. Would definitely stay again but not plan on using the couch.
