Didn’t really like the dining in the restaurant. Maybe if there was more than one server and it would’ve been nice. Food was AMAZING though. Everything else was great !

The Madison Hotel which is owned and operated by Marriot advertised and charge us extra for the room as "City View". We checked in into a room at the 10th floor but the room didn't have any view except a tall building on the other side of the street (about 50' away) with a brick exterior. The next morning we woke up before 6am because of a bang bang noise from the above floor. It turned out they have a construction going on without a) disclosing it in any form or shape (online or at the check-in time), b) closing the hotel because of the construction. When we complained about the City View, the manager said: "This is what we call "City View" because you see the next building on the other side of the street. If that's the case, every hotel room is a "City View" room unless the room is in the basement. And regarding the construction noise, they said sorry and said they can downgrade us to level 6 without compensating us for the downgrade. We decided to go to level 6 to avoid all-day long construction noise.

The property was well kept. Staff were pleasant. We stayed in a Junior Suite with “city view”. This is my only complaint, there was no city view. We faced another building and the vent units. When I called about it, I was told this view was considered to be the “city view”. It wasn’t a deal breaker since we had no intentions of being in the room much. The room was nice and the shower/tub was spacious with good water pressure. They do offer dining. Food was ok. There is no mini fridge nor microwave in the room. Location was within a mile walk to most restaurants downtown, however a good distance from most monuments. But still walkable if you’re active, we walked it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would most definitely stay again.

At least 2 broken car windows on the street. Good also shuts down at 10 pm in the area great location parking is about $70 which is average. I would stay again just not trust my car without me or the valet.
