Ettington Park Hotel - TOTALLY AMAZING
As usual an amazing stay at the Ettington. This is our second mini break here and we will definitely be returning again. It’s like visiting an old friend. All the staff are amazing and do friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. Amazing rooms looking out over the magnificent grounds . Beautiful architecture throughout the amazing building with outstanding feature pieces. It’s lovely to be able to relax in our room and have a delicious breakfast brought to you. Angela and Becky were amazing catering to our every requirement. Tracey helped make the amazing bees knees cocktails which I highly recommend and we were able to relax in the lounge after a long day sightseeing around the various quaint villages and shops. Georgia and Patricia in reception were extremely helpful and professional. The Consierge Flat was always so pleasant even when working late into the night , he always had time to chat and had was extremely friendly. Jai in the breakfast room always had a great sense of humour. A stay at the Ettington isn’t complete until you have used their spotlessly clean swimming pool and used the spa. Tasha the beauty therapist is so professional and I can highly recommend the facial and massage. The best I’ve had. I cannot fault the hotel and their facilities. The staff are all totally amazing and so friendly. I cannot recommend this hotel high enough. We will be returning again soon for our third stay.

Magnificent property, straight out of a fairy tale! Beautiful landscape! Top notch rooms and amenities! Amazing staff! Excellent dining, try the Plant based burger, the best I've ever had! Excellent breakfast! Will definitely return.

Fantastic staff
We stayed for 2 nights and overall the stay was excellent. The food was good but what really made this trip special were the staff. Without exception the whole team were professional, engaging and fun. We will certainly be going back again. This was our 5th time in the hotel and the best.

Idyllic setting
Idyllic setting we revisited after 26 years . After all this time standards were still excellent & staff knowleadgeable . Lots of extra little touches and the concierge Damon is such a lovely gentleman . He’s been there 18 years so says it all really

Warm welcome
Friendly and professional staff gave us such a warm welcome. Our room in the New Wing was spacious with extremely comfortable bed and high quality bed linen. The swimming pool was a highlight especially as we had it almost to ourselves. The hotel building is stunning and the grounds extensive. With its Victorian Gothic style, it's not hard to believe the stories of ghosts at the property.

Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings. Rooms were lovely too and upgraded to a modern standard with air conditioning. Only downside was that the table service was not up to a restaurant standard. They looked understaffed and struggling to cope. Food was good but access to it was a challenge. Waited 30 mins to be served for an afternoon tea and finally gave up and left as they hadn’t even managed to take a drinks order from us. Shame otherwise what would have been a fantastic stay.

The website doesn't do justice to this magnificent hotel. The extensive grounds are immaculately maintained, the guest rooms, swimming pool and reception rooms are beautifully designed and maintained. Our reception couldn't have been more welcoming.

Poor beyond belief
The building and surroundings was amazing, let down by the room condition, and hygiene There was dust everywhere, not just onntop of picture frames, mirrors etc, but on glass shelfs where tea making facilities are. No extra pillows and the ones we was given are awful, couldnt sleep. When i woke up and made my wife a cup of tea, she threw up , baring in mind shes 11 weeks pregnant !!!!!!! We foumd the milk provided was out of date by 3 days !! Absolutely livid !

I have personally taken up the issues you mention with our housekeeping team regarding the dust levels and milk in the fridge, and please accept my apologies and assurances that we have now put in processes which will prevent these issues for occurring for any other guest. These were unacceptable lapses in our usual levels of excellence and the standards of cleanliness and accommodation of which we are so proud. We do carry a range of different pillow types, and had you only spoken to us during your stay, we would gladly have arranged for extra or alternative pillows to be brought to you, to have made you more comfortable. I do hope that we can welcome you at Ettington again, and that we can show you the usual standards of excellence, which we are so proud to offer our guests. The hotel and service is very good, but the food was disappointing. The dinner desert menu was very uninspired and the melon and mint desert tasted like Just like night nurse. Horrid!

First stay since Covid-19 outbreak
This was our 3rd visit to Ettington and the 1st visit since hotels reopened following the Covid-19 outbreak and we were not disappointed. The hotel only had 7 rooms occupied during our stay and so evening dinner lacked a bit of atmosphere, purely because of the low number of guests (maybe turning the background music up a notch might have helped here). The hotel obviously has to operate to social distancing regulations and did so in a very professional, friendly and accomodating way. We received a very warm welcome when we arrived and a fond farewell when we left and everything in between couldn't have been better. The food was excellent, the service was 1st class as always, thanks to Christina and Jordan who couldn't do enough for us. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

A hotel with character
Pleasant location with helpful staff and good food. An old house with lots of interesting features just a few miles outside Stratford upon Avon. Well worth a visit.

Mediocre experience. We went for a birthday celebration.Phoned to make a booking for the restaurant. The person from the hotel chain said they would get someone to phone back. That never happened. When we arrived at the hotel the restaurant was fully booked. We ended up having to eat in the bar. The food was poor and extremely over priced.The birthday celebration was ruined. Wont be going back.

I am pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay however I am sorry that your toast was delivered too early and I hope that when you mentioned this to the team members looking after you that fresh toast was served to you. We have semi skimmed, whole milk and soya milk available on the buffet, hot milk is served along with coffee and any other alternatives, as mentioned on the buffet menu, are available upon request. I do hope that these items were served to you when you requested them with our team. I trust that all other aspects of your stay were enjoyable and that your breakfast, with the exception of having to request more toast and a milk alternative, was also as it should have been.
