YEP - newly added! ◆ Boats? YEP - 2 Kayaks and 2 paddleboards included! ◆Motorized Boats? Reach out to your host about renting his pontoon or renting a boat within walking distance! ◆ Giant yard with tons of yard games? YEP! ◆Simplicity, relaxation, and lakefront? YEP! Dishes can be washed the old fashioned way, by hand :) Looking for beautiful tile work and a steam shower / sauna? I recommend booking a different property! This one will allow you to shower (although, a bit claustrophobically), use the restroom, and wash your hands. The bedrooms house beds and not much more! Great for sleeping, bad for most other things! The water is potable (drinkable)! That said, it is well water, so it may have earth's metallic kiss built into its flavor profile. It may not taste/feel like the water you are used to having at home! There is no laundry on-site! A lake wardrobe should look something like: a single swim suit, a pair of well-loved flip flops, two ragged T- shirts, and one sweatshirt :) Who needs a washer / dryer when at the lake! Feeling warm? Great news - the home was recently updated with both Air Conditioning and heat! You can now stay cool inside, but I still recommend taking a dip in the lake, pouring yourself an ice cold beverage, or sitting in the shade to stay cool instead. Your rental includes access to 2 kayaks, 2 paddleboards, paddles/oars, and life jackets!! If you'd like to rent a pontoon or fishing boat, contact the host for the website link (unable to post here). The pickup point is within walking distance from the cottage to make life incredibly easy :) Looking to enjoy the outdoors? You rental comes with access to the grill, yard games like cornhole, yard pong, Bottle Bash / beersbee, etc., floaties/noodles, durable lifetime folding tables and chairs, and much more! Both our family and the prior owners' family cherish the idea of "the lake". It is an escape from everyday life's hustle and bustle and an opportunity to return to a simpler time. While WifI and TV are included, we highly recommend avoiding them! Enjoy the simple pleasures of being outdoors, drinking in the views, boating as much as possible (BYOB - Bring Your Own Boat!), playing yard games and card/board games, connecting with family and friends, and once it gets dark, have some incredible conversation around the bonfire. \*\*Please note that the dock is a seasonal feature. It is removed in the Fall and put back into the water each Spring. If you specifically want/need the dock outside of the main summer months, please confirm with the host\*\* The backyard, house, gravel area, front yard, firepit, and dock are all yours! The rental was exactly what we needed - plenty of space to park our trucks and trailers, a pier for our boats, and a tavern a block away. The cabin was cool and rustic. We caught 50 fish here in the fall and we couldn't be more pleased. We rent for fishing trips twice a year and we will surely be back here next year! ##### David L. This place is a gem that seems to appear out of the cornfields as we traveled north. The bungalow has a great location right on the lake. The unit accommodated the five of us (two parents and 3 adult kids) fine. While we had an issue with the water for the unit during our stay, the host was very responsive and helpful in resolving the problem. The owner/manager was very responsive to all communications. A bonus was that the neighbors across the street that own the dock to the right, when looking out to the lake, were very friendly.
