Home from Home in Warsaw
Our 2nd Stay at the Duval apartments. The room we were allocated was a small apartment well equipped with a modern bathroom, comfortable bed ,fridge, kettle, cutlery Etc. The room was tastefully decorated and well maintained. Excellent location in the centre of the old town close to many restaurants and museums. Martyn is a great host and is always ready to help is guests. Will definitely use again and have recommended to friends and family. Dave and Sally York’s

Apartment is fine. Cleanliness could improve. Also the lady that was at the check out was very rude. The entrance of the apartment was completely dark at night and the entrance was very old. All this for apartment ZZ2

Thank you for sharing your opinion, the apartment is in historic house therefore the entrance is very old and the light for the night in the main hall is kept down as we are trying not to be too much a burden on the planet. Sometimes people who do not speak English may give the impression of being rude but it was not a person belonging to our team . However, we hope you have enjoyed your stay in Warsaw and we will take your review into account for immediate improvements.

A beautiful, roomy apartment in the heart of old town. Couldn’t be any better. Location is right next to the market square. There is a great coffee shop on the second floor and the owner there, Martin, does the check in for the apartment and takes care of anything you need. Martin was such a pleasure and made our whole visit even better with great coffee and great information on what to see in town. We will definitely be back.

Charming place to stay
Martin was a wonderful host, helping us with luggage up the stairs on arrival and always on hand if we needed anything. He was warm and had a great disposition, and he makes great coffee in his cafe. Lovely and comfortable apartment in a central location in the Old Town. We had a great stay and would love to come back. Thank you Martin.

You are in the heart of Old Town, near to sights and public transportation that will take you around Warszaw. It’s located in a quiet area. The welcoming is warm and service minded. The room very neat, well equiped and charming. I will definately stay there next time I visit Warsaw.

Just Perfect
Me and my sister spent the weekend at the Duvals Apm. Everything was just perfect! A very clean and quiet old beautiful house in the middle of the old town. Perfect situated close to everything. The room was very comfortable like a big apartement where you found everything you needed. You could also eat a delicious breakfast in the café and the owner Martin was fantastic. He guided us to the best places in Warszaw and made the stay extra extraordinary with his warm smile. On the groundfloor you find a real nice beer and pizzaplace and in the basement a lovely teahouse. I can highly recommend Duvals if you are going to beautiful Warzsaw

Excellent location. Really close to all the areas of interest in the Old Town and also to the transport links. Martin, the host was also very good and provided lots of useful info. He also arrnaged for transfer to the airport on our way home.

A Nice Place in a Great Location
The apartment is very nice and clean. It is comfortably set up as well. The location inside the Old Town is great. It is right next to the Old Town Square and within 5 minutes walk of the Royal Castle. The host, Martin, is very friendly and responsive. I enjoyed my stay there.

First class experience!
The hotel is basically a building that survived the world war. There is a tea room in the basement, a wonderful bar on the groundfloor and a cafe on the first floor. The location is amazing; right in the middle of “Stare Miasto”. The rooms are spacious, quiet and tastefuly decorated with a view of the old town! And more importantly: martin (the owner of the hotel) is full of unfo and recommendations regarding the city!!!

Beautiful apartment in the old city
I was really pleased with staying in this apartment. Very comfortable and nicely decorated, it featured a spacious bathroom, TV/DVD are with a sofa and coffee table, and a kitchenette that had a kettle and coffee/tea for the guests. I also asked the owner for an iron and a board and was immediately provided with them. The location of the apartment is excellent, bang in the middle of the old city, and a few minutes' walk from many shops, restaurants and bars. The owner was very helpful and spoke perfect English. Overall thoroughly recommended.

Great apartments right next to town square
These are really nice apartments located literally around the corner from the historic Warsaw town square. Mine was a studio with a small kitchenette, and it was clean, stylishly designed, and very pleasant to relax in after a long day of wandering the city. The apartments are located upstairs from a restaurant (ground floor) and coffeeshop (first floor). Check-in and check-out were very easy. I enjoyed my stay very much and would happily recommend this place to others.

Super modern apartment in the old town!
Very modern and clean accommodation in the old town. Ideally located for the old town sights and the marriage we were attending. The only down side, was that room was extremely warm and had no AC.

Stayed 3 nights in Nov/Dec, we where met by Martyn who may sure we had every thing was ok and even provided us with a mobile just in case we needed to make any local calls. The apartment was spacious well designed and furnished, bathroom was large and modern, bed big and confotable. It snowed during our stay so it was good to know we were going back to warm accommodation. We have stayed in apartments before in Poland and would rate this one of the best so far. The location is in the centre of the old town close to the old market square, castle restaurants and bars. Other parts of Warsaw can easily be reached by public transport or on foot. Would highly recommend ( thanks Martyn for a nice three days hope to come back) Dave and Sal T Yorks uk

just perfect!
Wonderful apartment, location, and staff. The owners also have a cafe and tea room downstairs, so there's almost always someone around if you need anything. (Try the tea room btw - serene atmosphere and a huge assortment of exotic teas. A nice break from sightseeing.) It was our first time in Warsaw, and the apt was a great home base for exploring. Old Town Square, shops, & restaurants are steps away. The castle's just a few minutes walk. Buses are close & easy for everywhere else.

Lovely apartments in the old town
Duval apartments is in a very lovely and calm area in the old town of Warsaw. The Polish Chamber was very authentic and cosy. The host Martin was awesome and made sure our stay was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place, and we will for sure stay here another time when we travel to Warsaw!

In the heart of the old town.
Really loved the room,very spacious,spotlessly clean and well equipped,I must say one of the nicest rooms I have stayed in.Our room had a Japanese theme,Its positioned just off the old town square,surrounded by many polish restaurants,the apartment is situated up two flights of stairs which was no problem for us. The manager Martin was fantastic and was always on hand if we needed any advice or had any questions,he spoke very good English and was very pleasant.If your looking for British bars and restaurants you won't find them here,a couple of polish run Irish bars in the vicinity if your looking for that sort of thing. If we ever return to Warsaw again we would definitely stay here,

Nice location near the square
Had a very nice room facing the street ( a bit of noise, especially with windows open) in a good location near the square. No longer serves breakfast, but has a coffee maker and small fridge. This part of town wakes up late, so best to have your own early morning coffee/snacks. This building does not have a lift, so a few flights of stairs at least.

Romslig, pent, rent, god service og beliggenhet!
Jeg er meget fornøyd med oppholdet på Duval. Rommet og badet var stort, pent og rent. Servicen var god, og jeg følte meg trygg på stedet. Gamlebyen er koselig, og det er kort vei til shopping og severdigheter. Det er dessverre ikke aircondition på det japanske rommet, kun 1 gulvvifte...ganske slitsomt om sommeren. Det er rulle - og heisgardiner der, men de holder ikke lyset skikkelig ute. Det er høyt under taket og mange vinduer man kan åpne, både på rommet og badet. Dessverre var det bråk fra ca. 08 - 19 pga bygningsarbeid i bakgården. Med vinduene lukket var ikke dette noe problem, men da ble det varmt! De skulle hatt en vifte til på rommet. Vi fikk utlevert kun 1 nøkkel da vi kom, relativt tungvint dersom man ønsker å gå litt hver for seg. Den siste dagen spurte vi om å få 1 nøkkel til. Det ble ordnet med en gang, så anbefaler å spørre om å få 2 nøkler ved ankomst. Agnieszka ordnet transport fra flyplassen, møtte oss ved taxiholdeplassen, fulgte oss til leiligheten og bar opp kofferten min (ingen heis). Både hun og Martin var meget serviceinnstilte og svarte raskt på henvendelser via e-post. Det lå også en mobiltelefon på rommet, som vi kunne bruke, dersom vi trengte å kontakte dem. Alt i alt ett av de beste stedene jeg har bodd, men fravær av aircondition ødela litt for meg.

Lovely apartment. We were in the Polish room which was delightful however do bear in mind that this room faces direct onto a main street and would therefore not be the best choice for a light sleeper. I believe some of the other rooms face a quiet courtyard...

Stor leilighet og fint bad. Martin var veldig hjelpsom med alt vi lurte på, og aldri langt unna. Leiligheten hadde en bra plassering midt i Gamlebyen, med hyggelig kafé og pub 1. etasje.

Some wonderful, some not so wonderful
This was a perfect location, and the Duval Apartments were inexpensive for the quality. Our stay would have been perfect, too, except that the owner accidentally gave the room we had reserved 9 months earlier to another couple the day before.....normally, this might not have been so bad, but we were so looking forward to the "Polish Chamber" room, rather than the very sleek and contemporary Asian room. Martin did make real efforts to make up for this mistake, which we greatly appreciated. Two other problems with this room (for us), was that the curtain and underlying blinds were very light, so our room was very bright in the morning, waking us early. The Polish Chamber had heavy dark curtains...one reason we reserved it. Also, it was warm for May, and the room was too hot for us to sleep well..even with the very nice fan.
Thank you very much for your stay with us and kind words, we do applogize for the unfortunate error we have made, however we do hope your stay in Warsaw was a nice experience. We will also replace the blinds in Japnese room so they do not let the light in the morning, thank you for this suggestion and we send you lots of greetings from Warsaw.

Perfeito para férias sem preocupação!!!!
Se for à Varsóvia, fique no Duval apartments!!! A família Duval é ótima, muitos atenciosos e educados. No apartamento tudo é novo, cama e chuveiro confortável, cozinha bem equipada. Eles reservaram taxi tanto na vinda quando na ida ao aeroporto. Embaixo dos apartamentos tem um café delicioso e um bar com cervejas artesanais polonesas onde fomos todos os dias da nossa estadia. Só precisamos de transporte público para ir no Museu da Revolta de Varsóvia. Todos as outras atrações são muito perto.

Direkt in der Altstadt gelegen.
Beieindruckende Stadt für gemischte Gefühle. Tolle, wieder aufgebaute Altstadt, der man die jungen Jahre nicht ansieht. Nette, gemütliche Einkehrmöglichkeiten, nette Leute. Sehr sauber, kaum Grafitti, überall gefegt und geweienert. Die Parks sind groß, weit und sehr gepflegt. Viel Grün und viele beschauliche Ecken. Chopin auf allen Wegen. Wenn man sich dann mit der tragischen Geschichte im Judenmuseeum und im neuen Museeum des Warschauer Aufstandes beschäftigt, weiß man die Leistung der Polen und deren Stolz noch mehr zu schätzen. Das Geschäftsviertel ist ein völlig anderer Teil der Stadt und nicht jedermanns Sache. Die Einkaufzentren sind toll, aber unterscheiden sich vom Angebot kaum von unseren. Da haben uns dann eher regionale Besonderheiten gefehlt. Die großen Ketten hätte ich bei einem solchen Aufenthalt nicht vermisst. Warschau ist aus meiner Sicht ein Pflichtprogramm aller Deutschen.

Great room, great location. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Marcin! He could not have been more accommodating- culminating in him booking our cab to train station, and carrying our bag to taxi!!!! Breakfast - excellent!!!! Great choice, lots if it, beautifully presented! Food in restaurant excellent in eves! Service ( again Matcin!) faultless!!!! Will be recommending to All of our friends! Thank you! Caroline Milsom

Maravilloso enclave y excepcional servicio
La estancia fue maravillosa, y sobre todo destacar la amabilidad del servicio, en concreto Martjin y sus desayunos! La habitación (estuve en la japonesa) es muy amplia y silenciosa. Tienes una variedad grande de DVDs y libros a tu disposición. En pleno centro de la ciudad vieja de Varsovia, todo te queda a mano. Altamente recomendado!
