Salt water pool!!!!! Enjoy the beauty of the Adirondacks in this handcrafted custom log home set on the beautiful Schroon River in the lower Adirondack Mountains. Located in a quiet residential area just a few minutes from Lake George. This home features a large deck overlooking the river. Two car garage. View of the water from every room in the house. Hardwood and ceramic floors, central air conditioning. Great room has a wood burning fireplace. Master bedroom has a gas fireplace and French doors out to the deck. Master bath features a custom built walk in stone 'cave' shower with 2 sets of body jets and rainfall shower heads. Fully equipped Alderwood kitchen with granite countertops and island. Double wall ovens, dishwasher, five burner gas cook-top and French doors out to the deck. Washer and dryer off the kitchen. Upstairs has a full bath and 2 bedrooms each with a private balcony and queen beds. The loft has a queen sofa sleeper. Basement has 2 more bedrooms each with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed and one bunk bed, family room, bar, bathroom, air hockey and foseball tables. Cable TV in all bedrooms. Off the basement is an 8 person hot tub ( under the deck ) and an outdoor fire pit over looking the beach area. Left side of the backyard is our Salt water pool overlooking the river with views downstream. The pool goes from 3.5 feet to 5 feet and has a tanning ledge. Beach has a dock and 2 canoes. This home is located in a quiet residential area. We encourage travelers to view our location using the map feature. Everything exceeded our expectations. Communication was easy and the hosts were responsive and quick, provided all info and tips. House comes equipped with everything! We had a large group ranging in age from little kids to grandparents and everyone was comfortable. The kitchen was the heartbeat of our time. Very well stocked. The owners thought of everything from coffees to popcorn to snacks. Talk about popcorn. They have a cut popcorn machine with plenty popcorn kernels to pop. However we didn’t use it. This house is perfectly maintained. The owner Niki texted me when the garbage would be picked up and the lawn mowed. Plenty of bedrooms for myself, husband, adult kids and our two grandsons, aged 5 and 7 and my son in laws mother. We ate outside at the picnic table; breakfast, lunches and dinners. The weather was perfect. Lake George is a perfect distance away for bowling or putt putt. We took a boat trip around the lake which included lunch. Our week went too quickly. Would we come back? YES!!!! Thank you Nikki and Bill! Not all windows had screens, appliances were a little troublesome, and the air conditioning wasn’t great - extremely hot upstairs, extremely cold in basement. Pool and yard were exceptional. Fabulous pool, hot tub and firepit. Fantastic environment to spend some time with family and friends. The location is right off the highway with easy access to many stores and local fun spots like Lake George and Diamond Point.
