« Very kind host! Relaxing atmosphere with beautiful views. Home felt secluded, yet just a short drive to town. We were snowed/iced in for several days but happily utilized the cozy fireplace, game tables and plethora of movies and games. Look forward to returning in gentler weather so we may enjoy the outdoor amenities. Great layout for couples or families with kids. »

« WOW!!! The Nest is simply incredible. I’ve stayed in a dozen cabins within a two hour radius, and The Nest is far and away the best I’ve ever seen. The interior is spacious and the furniture is comfortable and big, the layout is so cool, the view is just amazing. Check in was super easy, host was responsive and helpful, I cannot wait to come back here!!! Well worth the extra. »

« Very nice clean, eclectic place with great amenities. Paula is a great host, tentative when we had questions. It was cold and windy by the lake, but there was plenty to do inside (games, sauna, TV, etc.) on a snowy winter day. Enjoyed having a fire in fireplace in the sunroom watching outside nature. We hope to return to enjoy all that is offered when it's warmer. »

« We absolutely loved our stay at Gruner Bungalow! The vacation started off well with a gift from the management team from the winery! The house is very clean, beautiful and spacious. We had several kids ages infant to 16 and there were spots for everyone to play and hang out. We cooked every day and the kitchen is very well stocked. « Such a serene, inviting cottage! We enjoyed our peaceful weekend at the mint cottage. It was immaculately clean, comfortable and inviting, and the perfect location to go explore Shenandoah National Park & George Washington National Forest. The kitchen was well-stocked, and it's easy to tell the owner takes great pride in and care of this relaxing space. The walking trails on the property were perfect for the dog too! We will return soon. »

« Our 11 person group loved our stay at this property. The house was huge, full of interesting things to look at, and with amazing views. The kitchen was terrific for cooking big group meals, and the dining table sat us all easily. The treehouse was particularly fun for our more adventurous kids. We plan to come back! »
