"We visited Williamsburg Lodge over the 4th of July weekend. The Lodge is upscale comfortable. We booked a Junior Suite that was spacious, nicely appointed, and came complete with a prep sink, mini fridge, and a coffee station. The grounds are gorgeous and are within easy walking distance to all things Colonial Williamsburg is known for. If you prefer, you can board the resort bus which loops the property and get off and on as many times as you like, There are many options for dining on property. You will definitely need a reservation to dine at one of the historic taverns; pricey but worth it. Of course, the fireworks were the highlight of the stay, as local residents and vacationers alike came together to honor our country’s founding; simply outstanding! We loved our stay at the Williamsburg Lodge. Highly recommended!"

"We wanted a place that was spacious for 5 people, and had some fun amenities for our kids. The Colonies delivered on both. The 2 bedroom condo was spacious and had everything we needed. The two swimming pools were a hit with the kids. It was very convenient to attractions in Williamsburg and the surrounding areas."

"Nice clean hotel, good for families, close to all attractions, walking distance to Colonial Williamsburg, mini golf and pool, good size room, but breakfast could be better, just eggs, oatmeal, cereal.. great staff, quick check-in and check out, will come back if in the area. "

"We were here for a baseball tournament. It was very convenient. The rooms needed a little updating. We had to call house keeping service because our sheets on the king bed kept slipping off during the night which was very annoying. If the sheets are too small when housekeeping puts them on, you’d think it was too small to sleep on during the night. "

"Great hotel, there was a stain on sheet so they gave us another room. Great location. Only thing I didn't like was the 100 dollar incident fee. I know it will be a week before I see that. Great hotel regardless "
