We had a large group and we ate breakfast and dinner at the bnb. Unfortunately, the power went out during our stay in the middle of the night and the description does mention that it might go out, there wasn't a storm happening or anything. It also didn't seem like the host made any effort to inquire why there was a power outage. Luckily the power came back on in the morning so it wasn't too bad. There also wasn't enough toilet paper and paper towels, and we messaged the host but they said they wouldn't provide and we'd have to go out and buy some. Additionally there is only 3 in 1 mens shampoo so I would recommend bringing shampoo and soap. All of these things were also on the listing as to be provided by the BNB host though they weren't / were not adequately provided for the entirety of our stay. ##### Megan U. The Wardsboro river (Creek) running in the backyard was the only thing our kid’s needed to keep them occupied. The place was exactly as advertised. I the downside of the property was the lack of air conditioning in the second floor. It got really swampy during the night so that would’ve been a plus. Lenty of amenities to make your stay comfortable with a nice dining and living room area downstairs. My group and I stayed here for a weekend getaway and couldn't have asked for an easier welcome and stay. A few of my guests met the owners upon check-in and only had wonderful things to say about them. Majority of us live busy lives and Chris' home hit the spot for the perfect "off the radar" vibes but close enough to civilization if we really wanted it. The internet setup at the house was unfortunately not working during our stay (Chris communicated this to us via email, which we didn't have access to at the house), but we found things to do, even without cell service. The view of trees and the river in the back are great and breathtaking. The home is very easy to get to and located between two great ski resorts, Stratton and Mt Snow!
