Linda, the owner is so helpful and communicative. The area is so beautiful! The house itself is very clean and open, gorgeous views of the river right outside the windows and on the deck. The listing was a good representation of what the property is like. The views from the dining room and the back deck are great and we spent a lot of time watching the river. We brought our canoe and fished and paddled around every day, it is just a short drive down to the boat ramp. I would have loved a dock or bank access to the river from the house, but using the boat ramp wasn't bad. The house was comfortable and clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Nothing fancy, but it was serviceable. The property manager was very communicative and easy to work with. A few downsides worth noting: we had some hot weather and the loft area got very hot, the sleeper sofa up there isn't very comfortable, there's no door to the second bedroom so it isn't super private, and the water from the tap has a very faint odor. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay. ##### John S. Beds comfortable. Plenty of linens, nice movie collection, Plenty of dishes, but no serving bowls, not even for popcorn, peaceful dead end street. The view is spectacular and watching the river traffic was entertaining. The bad, the 2nd bathroom off the master is very tiny, no dock for launching boats in front of cabin.
