"Poppy lodge is set in a well maintained site. It is family friendly with a tennis court, playground, mini golf and swimming pool. The lodge provides all equipment for you to borrow. The indoor pool, has sessions which you need to book daily. The beach is a short walk. Poppy lodge provides everything needed and more for your stay. The kitchen is so well equipped. There is private seating at the front and back of the lodge. The bedrooms are quite low ceilings, but we managed this for the few days we were there. We had a lovely relaxing stay and would recommend it. The site is clean and welcoming. There isn’t any take away eateries on site."

"We loved our stay at the cottage. The house itself was lovely, very well provisioned, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. The location was ideal: close enough to town to make everything easy, but far enough away to feel like a proper escape. The large garden was a real highlight, and it was wonderful to have the beach nearby as well. There is also a great pub close by, which was very convenient, and as it closes at 8pm there was no noise disturbance in the evenings. The only small point to note is that the deck could probably do with an update, as it is starting to show some wear. Other than that, it was a brilliant stay and we would happily recommend it."

"Our family will have been holidaying in Kingsdown for 100 years in 2033 and I think we all must've stayed in every house that is for rent in North and South Road! Rum Bosen is lovely, close to the beach with a practical back garden (table/long washing line). The front garden could be cut back a lot to have more space and light - the front gardens in North Road are little havens. Otherwise it's all as expected from a two up/two down in North Road!"

"What a lovely place to stay. The house is well laid out, beautifully styled and very comfortable. The garden behind the house was so nice to be in for evening meals and there is a little table in the front garden to catch the sun for a first cup of tea in the morning. The owners are very generous in sharing their beautiful items, furniture, and grocery basics with guests. I felt very welcome and immediately at home. My family and I would love to return."

"Absolutely loved Oldestairs House. The bedrooms are great. The reception rooms are generous and comfortable. There's a wonderful, relaxed ambiance to the house which adds to the holiday vibe. There are some fabulous walks from the door. The weather was terrible, but the house has enough room to accommodate the great British vacation. Ubers in the area are also really easy to get so we could walk to St Margaret's Bay and taxi back when the rain came in. The games room could do with a little love, and we missed the football table (which appears in the photos, but was not in the house). I would also be tempted to put a more comfortable set of chairs in the small, strip sunroom. I can't speak highly enough of the service from Keepers Cottages. Lovely holiday, great house, good location would recommend."

"Bowden Lodge was the perfect property for our family get together of four generations. Having a downstairs bedroom with en suite and easy access to the living room and games room which in turn had easy access to the wonderful garden was ideal for our 96 year old great Nan The enormous garden was enjoyed by everyone for ball games, sitting and chatting and barbecuing in the evening. We had fantastic weather which was a bonus. Short walk to the beach and local pubs meant driving could be kept to a minimum. Highly recommend and would love to return when the pool is in use."

"Fabulous accommodation, well equipped with lovely rooms. Superb location with breathtaking and atmospheric views of the sea - whatever the weather! Conveniently located next to the Zetland Arms. Attending a family wedding at nearby Ripple Court, so less opportunity to avail ourselves of all the nearby amenities. Highly recommended and sad to leave."
