It had all the amenities you would expect at a hotel with the addition of a home feel. Our dog was able to run around in the surrounding grounds and enjoyed saying hello to the lambs and chickens. Although he may have scared them a little. This is a great place to stay and highly recommended for an escape from the city. We were able to do all that from this lovely place while enjoying the stunning beauty of the location and feeling very much like home. We are a family from Sydney's East who needed to get out of town for the weekend. We have two small children and a dog. Arrangements were made last minute and we were very lucky to secure time at Willowvale Estate. The entrance to the grounds is impressive and the charming cottage in which we stayed deceivingly spacious (we are considering a return with another family). The kids (and dog) could roam around freely: we kicked the ball around, played tennis, bounced on the trampoline, gawked at the securely fenced off farm animals and generally spent relaxing quality time together. We felt we hadn't scratched the surface in terms of activities and eateries in Wallerawang and surrounding towns. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful. My sister & her family shared a weekend at Willowvale estate & we weren't disappointed. The bbq area was perfect for lunch & dinner & the tennis court pool & spa kept the kids off their gadgets!
