This one bedroom, one bath home is tucked away at the end of a private driveway on the west side of Hwy 101\. This pet friendly cottage comes with a fully furnished kitchen, and oceanview dining area. Our livingroom has comfortable seating including a sleeper sofa and cable TV/DVD as well as large picture windows to enjoy the oceanview - rain or shine! Our deck is enclosed to it is a perfect set up for pets to safely enjoy the outdoors. Enjoy the romance as you sit by the fireplace with a warm beverage and take in the crashing surf! Stairs lead you down to eight miles of sandy beach that is literally your back yard. Please note: This home is dog friendly with a two dog maximum. A $100.00 fee applies. While we welcome your dogs, we do not allow them to be on furniture or bedding. Sitting on the front porch, looking out at the ocean, smelling the salt air, and watching the sunset was very relaxing. This cottage is close to a lot of other beaches, towns, and things to do. A little painting would greatly improve the feel of the cottage. Having a grill on the front porch was great but it needs repairs or replacing. Kitchen cabinet door did not close which was annoying when preparing vegetables or washing dishes. The bathroom was updated, the kitchen looked original from the beginning. The place was clean, bedding and bed was comfortable. There were some Adirondack chairs outside we used but the patio set was rusted through. There were a couple of beautiful days to be outside but the weather was as expected (windy and rainy) the rest of our stay (in March.) Easy access to the beach and protected from the highway. Kitchen well stocked though another time I would bring along a dish cloth or sponge. One of us was very disappointed to not be able to get TV. Perfect house for watching the sunsets and for watching the sun rises by the perfect little yard for a pet. There must have been a pet in there before us that wasn't as great as there was a little spot that I could tell had been cleaned up but still was very wet when we checked in, it happens. Since we weren't allowed to use the porch light because it upsets the neighbors, we did feel a little out in the dark off of the main road and the kids didn't feel safe playing outside at night as they normally had. I think people forget sometimes that porch lights are to help light up dark areas and to help others feel safe. Also if you aren't the best driver/parker in the world than this parking spot might be a bit tough for some...... As well as the driveway to get in and out of the house area. This should not deter you just be aware as this house has the most amazing views and two different staircases within 10 to 20 ft to use that allow you on the beach. ##### Brooke H.
