Unwind and step away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Just relax your mind, body and soul. This designer apartment with a touch of luxury offers a cozy retreat. The open floor plan is ideal for spending time with your family or friends. The balcony lets you enjoy the beautiful views over the green landscape while having breakfast or dinner. With a fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living area and cozy bedrooms, this place offers everything you need for a relaxing stay. The apartment is one of two vacation rentals in this building and located on the 1st floor with 1 flight of stairs to climb (No Elevator). It has a master suite with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom. A second bedroom has two single beds that could also be converted into a queen bed and a separate bath room with walk-in shower. A unique place offering plenty of room to spread out. On special request we can set up one or two single fold out beds to allow room for up to 6 guests. Guest access Guests have private access to their apartment through the main entrance of the house. There is one flight of stairs to climb to the 1st floor (No elevator). Outside at the entrance is a lock box. Guests will receive a code for opening the lock box and retrieve the key to their apartment. This allows guests to check themselves in any time after 4 p.m.(16.00). A guest parking space is available in front of the house. The bus stop (Postauto) is just steps away. Busses go every hour in each direction, either to Weinfelden or Ermatingen. Other things to note Hattenhausen is a picturesque farming village nestled in the green hills of Thurgau in Eastern Switzerland close to the beautiful Lake of Constance (Bodensee). Within a 5-30 minute drive there is a lot to see and do. Many castles and monasteries are open to visitors, nearby medieval towns invite for a stroll through their cobblestone streets. Its side street cafes and many restaurants offer local delicacies. Take a boat cruise on the lake or down the river Rheine to Schaffhausen with its famous Rheinfall waterfall. Play a round of golf at the Lipperswil Golf Club, one of the most beautiful golf courses in Switzerland with amazing views just 5 minutes after leaving your apartment. Indulge in a day of wellness at the Golf Panorama just 5 minutes away. Kids will enjoy an exciting day at Conny Land Lipperswil, 5 minutes’ drive away. With your bicycle you can explore the surrounding countryside and stop at castles or traditional country restaurants for a break or just take a pick nick and enjoy the outdoors. There are many well-marked walking trails and small side streets for hikers. The popular Napoleon loop passes right in front of our door. Wir hatten erholsame 14 Tage in einer tiptop sauberen und gut ausgestatteten Wohnung. Die Lage ist etwas abseits vom Trubel, so dass man mit dem Auto fahren muss, um zum Essen zu gehen oder zum Einkaufen. Kleines Manko waren die allabendlichen stechenden Besucher. Also Spray oder Creme mitholen!!! Was auch etwas störend war, war das Hin- und Hergeschiebe der Stühle von dem oberen Balkon. Nicht jeder hebt den Stuhl beim Hinsetzen an! Den Bodensee kannten wir schon, allerdings noch nicht von der Schweizer Seite. Die Ferienwohnung hat unsere Erwartungen voll und ganz erfüllt und sogar übertroffen. Für unseren Hund erwartete uns eine Grundausstattung aus Napf, Untersetzer, Kotbeuteln und sogar einem Pfotenreiniger. Wir konnten optional eine Garage dazubuchen, was wir gerne in Anspruch nahmen, da wir mit zwei Autos angereist waren. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung war traumhaft. Man ging zur Tür heraus und zwei Häuser weiter war man direkt im Feld. Die Fahrt nach Konstanz dauerte nur gut zehn Minuten, in die andere Richtung konnte man bei klarem Wetter die Alpen sehen. Die Ferienwohnung ist ein schöner Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Schweiz, z.B. nach Zürich oder zum Säntis. In der Wohnung selbst haben wir nichts vermisst. Die Ausstattung war vollständig, die Wohnung in sehr gutem, sauberem und neuwertigem Zustand. Das Elternschlafzimmer hat einen eigenen Fernseher und ein eigenes, sehr großzügiges Badezimmer. Beide Badezimmer sind mit (Regen-)Dusche ausgestattet. Vom Balkon aus hat man einen tollen Blick in die Natur und den liebevoll angelegten Garten der Vermieterin. Der Kontakt mit Vicki war sehr freundlich. Sie hat auf unsere Wünsche prompt und zu unserer Zufriedenheit reagiert. Es waren zwei wunderbare Wochen, die nur durch das wechselhafte Wetter etwas getrübt wurden. Eine ganz klare Empfehlung! ##### Kerstin W. Die Küche vom feinsten, die Elektrogeräte von toller Qualität. Schlafzimmer super. Und das Bad war auch ein Traum. Wohn- und Esszimmer waren auch super. Gute Ausgangslage für Velotouren und Wanderungen auf dem Thurgauer Seerücken. Der Bodensee (Untersee) ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Während unseres Aufenthalts war für Lastwagen eine baustellenbedingte Umleitung durch Hattenhausen signalisiert. Dadurch war der Verkehrslärm deutlich wahrnehmbar. ##### Marlies Z.
