![Von der Natur zurückeroberte Ruine eines Hauses im aufgelassenen Weiler Unterferdinandsdorf am Nordhang (zum Reisenbachtal hin) des Winterhauchs bei Waldbrunn. Von dem um 1850 aufgegebenen Weiler zeugen nur solche Mauerreste, die zeigen, wie die Natur menschliche Siedlungen zurückbaut und sie sich zunutze macht. Die Reste von Unterferdinandsdorf liegen laut Karte am Rand des Landschaftsschutzgebietes „Reisenbachtal“ (Schutzgebiets-Nr. 2.25.001). Laut dem offiziellen Schutzgebiets-Steckbrief zählen die Ruinen mit zum Landschaftsschutzgebiet („Tief eingeschnittenes Odenwaldtal mit Mauerresten der 1850 abgegangenen Siedlung Ferdinandsdorf“ – hier muss Unterferdinandsdorf gemeint sein, denn Oberferdinandsdorf lag ein ganzes Stück südwestlicher).](https://images.trvl-media.com/place/3000031875/be536813-f9a6-400c-9ce2-3d3bc7622e99.jpg?impolicy=fcrop&w=1200&h=500&q=medium)

"Le personnel n'est pas très accueilllant. Aucun sourire. Fait payer le parking mais ne donne pas de ticket. Enregistre 4 personnes mais ne met que 2 personnes au petit déjeuner ( soit disant que le problème vient d'expedia...) Chambre très bien, propre, moderne, cependant pas tellement d'intimité entre la salle de bain et la chambre. Petit déjeuner correct. "

"Incroyable. Je n’ai jamais eu de petit déjeuner dune qualité pareille, c’était fou. Le spa est très sympa, et pour un samedi c’était peu fréquenté avec une très belle vue sur le château et la ville. La chambre était d’un confort irréprochable. Et l’insonorisation est tout simplement exemplaire. Une de mes meilleures nuits d’hôtel de ma vie, et j’en ai quelques une au compteur ! "

"Nous sommes arrivés très tôt et nous avons pu occuper notre chambre très rapidement. La dame de l'accueil était vraiment arrangeante. Chambre très agréable, plutôt grande et bien équipée. Petite salle de bain mais fonctionnelle. Parking pratique avec un petit supplément de 8 euros pour la journée. Il vaut mieux avoir une voiture d'ailleurs car l'hôtel est très excentré. Nous n'avons pas pris le petit-déjeuner car l'addition monte vite dans ce cas. L'hôtel et la chambre étaient très calmes et la literie confortable. Je trouve personnellement les oreillers un peu mous mais il y en a deux par personne !! Il y a également une petite salle de sport et un sauna fort agréable après la journée de visite."
