We booked this hotel because of how close the Kansai Airport is (we were planning to taxi to the airport). We email the hotel 2 days in advance to ask if they could book a taxi for us and they emailed back saying that they could book a taxi for us no problem. There was no mention of a cut-off time for booking a taxi. The day before we checked out we left the hotel at 7:30am for a Kyoto excursion and didn't get back to the hotel until 6:30pm. When we arrived at our room we found a piece of paper under the door staying that there is a 3pm cut-off time for booking a taxi. Really disappointed that there was NO mention of this cut-off time previously anywhere. Our TVs could extend our check-out time yet even on them there was no mention of a cut-off time for booking a taxi.
