« I really enjoyed my stay. The Bucket Tree is very iconic, with colonial style architecture, lovely park-like surroundings and that giant bucket-shaped tree in front. I arrived in the middle of a heavy rainstorm, so really appreciated the warm and cosy room. I had a separate bedroom with a very comfortable bed. Beautiful kitchenette and bathroom. Everything was lovely and clean and the service was great. I stayed for two nights and my room was cleaned each day. Would definitely stay here again....

« Très bon accueil, avec aide de la jeune femme pour réserver notre taxi pour le lendemain aller au ferry Interislander (20min environ, 18 dollars NZ à 5h20 du matin). Par contre cette chambre (seule qui restait), n’était pas agréable avec sa moquette qui semblait vraiment sale. SDB vétuste. Acceptable une nuit vraiment pour limiter nos frais... À voir si d’autres chambre sont plus rénovées (au moins le sol). »

« Nous avons apprécié l'accueil sympathique , le confort de la literie , la tranquillité, bien que le motel soit situé en bord de grand-route (Nous avions le logement 11 , celui qui est le plus en retrait) . Le logement est joli et bien arrangé et il y a du chauffage dans la salle de bain , ce qui est rare . Seul petit bémol : pas de plaques de cuisson . »

"L'hôtel est très design et bien situé. La rue Cuba Street est très vivante et regorge de bonnes adresses pour le déjeuner et le diner. Le bar Lola Rouge est très agréable et les personnels sont aux petits soins. Les chambres sont spacieuses, en revanche la salle de bain est basique pour un hôtel qui se veut d'un certain standing et la literie pourrait être meilleure. "Un Hotel au coeur de la ville, pratique d'accès. Le parking (un peu exigu) coûte 25$ par nuitée ce qui est tres correct pour un stationnement en plein centre. Tout se fait a pied depuis l'hotel, avec une pléïade de restaurants aux alentours. La chambre est moderne et propre, un peu "bruyante" la nuit avec la musique des bars alentours. Mais à recommander pour une etape à Welly."
