« I cannot recommend this home enough. I spent a fantastic long weekend here escaping the city fireworks with my dog. We enjoyed the early morning walks and bird watching and relaxing by the river in the afternoon. The house is clean and spacious and the kitchen had everything I needed. I was so sad to leave, and would love to return in the future. The George Washington National Forest is stunning, and this home is the perfect way to experience all of its beauty. »

« Rose Cottage was perfect and a delightful place to stay with dogs. The house had everything we needed and was so organized and welcoming that we were quick to feel at home. Jessie was so kind when we met. The fire pit and axe throwing down by the creek was so refreshing and the dogs were wild about running about in the huge fenced in section of the yard. We also enjoyed the deck. We're eager to come back when visiting our family and hometown again soon. »

« Staying at the Tranquil Retreat has been so much nicer than staying at a hotel. Plenty of space for 3 adults and we really appreciated the upgraded amenities, including the wonderfully comfortable beds. Great, well stocked kitchen, very easy to prepare a meal and nice to have a washer and dryer. This is our second stay here to visit our daughter, and we will certainly be back. »

« Lovely space in Giles! The horses were so beautiful to look at! The RV smelled sooo good! I wanna know what they use! It was a perfect little space super close to Mountain Lake Lodge, Cascades, gorgeous hikes! The drive alone to the RV was country paradise! We saw so many different animals. Just a wonderful little spot with a great host! The RV is decorated so perfectly and the outdoor space is adorable and a great place to relax!! 10/10 »

It's an older building in a rustic setting, but the home has been updated and we found it to be clean and comfortable. The nearby creek is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. »
