"First time on Kauai? Please be aware, nothing is Ocean Front. You may see the ocean, but all housing is high on cliffs and far from the water. Between the roosters and the property maintenance workers, do not plan to sleep past 7 a.m! Would have been nice to have a food option on the property. "Fabulous house in a fabulous location. Right on a small beach- we enjoyed not leaving our house! Roomy, comfortable and great views. Good bedroom air conditioners bc it does get hot in the afternoon. We enjoyed cooking for our group of 9 and sitting at the large dining table. Would love to come back."

"This was our 3rd stay at this hotel, and it did not disappoint! Our room was very clean and modern with vaulted ceilings. The ocean view was well worth it! Love the access to the beach and walking path, although be aware the beach at this property is NOT swimmable. But it’s a great spot to watch the sunrise and see an occasional seal. Location is a short drive from shops and restaurants in Kapa’a town, and walking distance to Coconut Marketplace which has casual dining options. This is a perfect spot to be situated for access to all parts of the island, and a short drive to/from airport."

"Positives-This was a cute house. It is older, but has seen some upgrades. They definitely have every amenity that you would need and so much more. There is so much room-inside and out! And so fun to have fruit trees right outside your window. Negatives- It is located right off the road and the next door neighbors are close! The location isn’t great. Yes, it was near the tunnels/beach, but not within walking distance because the roads are narrow and dangerous. Also, you have to drive a bit of ways to Hanalei for eating and shopping. This is obviously not the hosts fault as we should have done more research before booking. Overall, good experience!"

"We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. This property is in the perfect location, close to shopping, places to eat and right on the beach. The view and the pool area are amazing, it’s absolutely worth it to upgrade to an ocean view room. We were in room D306, a 2 bedroom suite, and this room needs a good cleaning. Stains on the carpet, kitchen and bathrooms were not cleaned very well, and the bedding did not look clean."
