It was a relaxing place with a beautiful view and nice staff. It is a bit expensive if you stay and eat only at the resort, but there are plenty of restaurants outside that make it easier to save money. I would suggest checking to see if your package includes free complementary breakfast, if not then I would eat elsewhere for breakfast, it is quite expensive and can range from $50 to $135 just for two people. Either then the expensive food, the hotel room was nice and clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly, and there were plenty of activities to do.

Love this hotel - quiet with no kids, great rooms and pool. So easy to get to the beach if you want to go via the Mercedes shuttles that will take you anywhere for breakfast, shopping or dinner too. Can't wait for the spa to be finished (but they have a deal with Grand Wailea spa until then). I do wish they had a little store but that is a tiny nit. Sign up for the mixology class if you can - James the mixologist at the pool bar is hilarious and makes the best margarita!
We fell in love with our villa! Not only was it bigger than we expected, it was clean and very homey. We decided to renew our vows and had a large group with us. Only my family of four stayed in the villa but we had plenty of room when we invited our guests to have dinner at our place. The pool has a nice BBQ area and the staff there is very pleasant. Would definitely stay there again!

The Penthouse is a 5 story building at the back of the property about 200m from the beach. The views from the upper floors are awesome - a full 180 degree view of the Ocean and sunsets. Our unit was a large 2 BR 2 bath, fully equipped with BBQ on the outdoor Lanai(balcony) . You reach your unit with a lift that just services your unit by the key card. So each lift stops at only the floor and unit for the key card. Nice privacy feature. There are shops including some a high end food market, and some restaurants directly across from the unit which is very convenient. You have covered parking in the garage which is also serviced by your lift and very close to the unit.
If you like self catering, (cooking) this is great. There are no restaurants in the Wailea Beach Villas complex, but there are in all the neighboring hotels which are an easy walk. There is a separate adult pool right by the beach, and staff to provide beach lounges, umbrellas and towels on the beach. No need to rush down to reserve a spot. Nice sandy beach location shared with the Grand Wailea and Four Seasons. Great snorkeling - had a turtle literally swim into me close to the shore. The Wailea Beach Villas also have larger villas 3-4BR for bigger parties. This is a luxury accommodation home away from home. It is not inexpensive, but based on the space and location of the units, totally worth it.
We stayed in a studio condo halfway up the hill at this location. It was a perfect location on site, close to one of the 'quiet area' smaller pools which we loved and not too far from the main pool that is right on the beach. The room was very comfortable and made us feel like we were really home away from home. It had all the amenities, bbq, in suite laundry and fully equiped kitchen. My favorite part of the day was having a coffee on the quiet fairly private ground leve deck area that our unit had in the morning sun watching the flowers open in front of my eyes and seeing the beautiful red cardinal join me nearby on the trees.
Our suite was stunningly located on the sunrise side of the building over looking the serene neighbourhood of Wailea and islands. Adult and children's pools are separated by a green space. Areas are well staffed, sunscreen & fresh fruit water is provided. The property is intimate and well appointed.
I was very impressed with the condo we stayed in. Beautiful views of the ocean, with easy access to the beach. The owners of the condo provided everything you need for a stay. Even a Maui guidebook, movies and Hawaii music. The housekeeping staff was excellent. A nice surprise was that this beach connects to Wailea beach. The condo faced the pool/hot tub and I was worried about noise. It was very quiet. If you are looking for a relaxing area to stay in, this is it. The beaches were never packed...unlike the ones in the Lahaina resort area.
Golf, golf, and more golf: the Wailea Golf Club’s three courses are a main attraction. Particularly, its Emerald Course is renowned for being one of the most friendly for women. Because the club is seaside, golfers can squeeze in seasonal whale watching during tee time. Shoppers can spend a few greenbacks at The Shops at Wailea, an upscale galleria with Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Tiffany & Co.
