We love Halii Kai and being so close to the pool was really convenient. We could be there right at opening, go play at the beach in the afternoon and be back in time for a last dip in the pool, dinner, mai tais and sunset at the Beach Club! Richard and his manager Jackie were very easy to work with. We had some miscommunication about our arrival time and Richard was so kind to accommodate us in his other unit in the same building 16H which has killer views of the ocean from the balcony. We will definitely be booking one of these units next time we are in Kona! Note for anyone traveling with kids: Richard’s units are stocked! We had an amazing trip to the Big Island and this condo played a big part in it. The thoroughly enjoyed the condo, pool and on-site restaurant. The resort grounds are beautiful and well kept. The condo was very clean, beds were all super comfortable and fit out family of 6 well. If anything it feels bigger and more impressive than the pictures. The garage had a nice stock of beach gear including 10 beach chairs, 5 sets of snorkel gear, 3 umbrellas, 4 boogie boards, 3 coolers and sand toys. The resort pool was wonderful and a very short walk from the condo. The restaurant beside the pool was delicious and had live music on some evenings. We walked the path along the ocean to the Hilton next door on several mornings and the views are breathtaking. Richard was excellent to work with and checked in to make sure everything was going well (which it was). We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we visit the Big Island again in the future. ##### Chad B.
