The yard for my child to go out and play was wonderful and with it being partially shaded most of the day I didn’t have to worry about him getting sun burnt. Relaxing on the balcony watching the golfers and taking in sunsets was lovely. The pool being just a hop skip and a jump away was very convenient not to mention the movie theater and shops within a short walk. This roomy villa on the end of the units offered inside and outside accommodations. In addition it was stocked with beach and golf gear such that we did not have to rent a thing. We traveled with our 3-year old and my parents. The house has everything you can possibly need including accessories for the beach and pool. We used the bikes to bike around a little bit. The market is right across the street and the pool is really close too. I feel so lucky that we found this place. Also, it looks like the appliances have been updated (some previous reviews said they were outdated and that is no longer the case). Need some fresh lighters for the BBQ since you have to use them to start the BBQ. The lanai was the best part as it had a table and an outside living area to relax at where we also got shade all day long. We liked how we were at the end of the property and had a little more privacy. There was also enough space for the six of us if we needed some alone time. The kitchen was well equipped with the essentials and the extra plates were nice. We could have used a few Tupperware containers for snacks at the beach and for leftovers. With use there are things that are starting to get worn down and could use replacing like the cushions on the couch and the ones outside on the table. We had a great number of beach/pool towels, 4 beach chairs an umbrella and many other beach items in the garage. All in all a great place for our Hawaii vacation. ##### Connie M. Checking in and communicating with management was excellent, and a bonus to park in the garage. Garage had ample but very used beach chairs and golf clubs, and there is some toys we did not use, but there. Inside the front door are coolers and some more beach stuff, although a bit is sketchy. The home was spacious but beds were iffy, pillows flat. Basement bedroom got HOT, and dropping the temp got it too cool upstairs where the control was. Home was tired but typical Hawai’i style. Table space was plenty but the couch is going down to threads, to the point it’s embarrassing. Kitchen supply is good, very happy they had dish and laundry soap for the duration, that’s always a plus. No tupperware like others said, it seems to get removed, and we left ours anyway. Bbq on the lanai is very handy, propane full. Main bath was run down pretty bad, but others ok It was a decent rental, all things you’d expect to get, like a little ant battle when we got there, they liked the fact there was lots of debris under the main carpet which wasn’t clean. Bedside tables, high-touch areas (doors) were filthy- No cleaning supplies available and the vacuum is broken making the space feel increasingly unkempt during a 2-week stay.- Previous reviews mention poor condition of furniture, w/management promising improvements, but no changes made. The couch was so dirty we had to cover it w/towels, the rugs and carpets look like they have never been cleaned (really need to be replaced)- Stove and oven barely function; the fridge’s water filtration system doesn’t work, forcing us to buy bottled water throughout our stay- No Tupperware- The upstairs jacuzzi tub was unusable because it had no drain stopper- We bought and left new umbrellas since they were in unusable condition; beach chairs are rough as well. - Unlike other units we’ve stayed in, this one does not have a small selection of games nor a smart TV or Roku set up to stream on demand movies/shows as a family.Overall, while the location and layout were great, the lack of cleanliness and maintenance made for a disappointing experience for the cost. The beach is a little under a mile to walk, but you can go through Queen's Marketplace and grab your Starbuck's on the way. The condo is large, with plenty of space for everyone to hang out. We had one issue getting into the garage (missing the remote) but the local number got back to us quickly and resolved the issue. The condo comes with plenty of beach toys, including chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and coolers, plus a couple of sets of golf clubs. The pool, hot tub, and workout room were all well maintained. Quiet mornings, listening to the birds amongst the blooming trees and shrubs and drinking my Kona coffee as the sun rose was one of my favorite parts of the day! House is beautiful, with all the comforts needed. I was glad they had 5 beach chairs, sand toys, boogie boards, lots of coolers and other beach items in the garage. Another huge bonus for us as well, was the built in outdoor grill, which we took advantage of during many of the evenings. We didn’t need to walk to the community grills near the pool. The pools are gorgeous! Management was good to work with as well. What makes my review only 4 stars is the couch is really dirty. We covered it with spare sheets. There were 8 of us there, and we needed to clean the hard floors regularly with a broom. The vacuum did not work so the carpeted areas did not get picked up. The main bathroom could use some updates, such as faucet and light switch as it’s been well used. I would still recommend this house and would love to come back again though! ##### Julie Kosobucki K. There were 4 adults and 4 kids and the house was airy and clean. My only complaint would be that you need to buy all the essentials and the house is not set up to accommodate your time. For a 17 night stay, we were only give one packet of dishwashing detergent and one laundry detergent so we had to go out to buy them as well as toilet paper, paper towels and tissue. We always bring our own toiletries but this was our first rental where we had to supply our own essentials so just be prepared for that inconvenience. Feb 3, 2025 Liked: Location Disliked: Communication #### This condo needs a serious update We have stayed at more than 15 various condos in Waikoloa Beach Villas for at least two weeks at a time over the past several years and most have been delightful. This condo, while providing adequate space for our large group, had carpets which were worn and stained in many areas, the living room sofa was extremely worn and as well as torn, the coffee table covered in scratches and obviously worn, there was no smart tv in the living room so no streaming capability, one of the outdoor chairs was torn with stuffing coming out and several of the beach chairs were broken. All of this was disappointing but could be overlooked (even at which were not insignificant prices) but on our last night we experienced a heavy rain. During the night we realized there were three separate leaks in the ceiling of the master bedroom necessitating the move of our personal items and placing bowls on the floor to catch the water. We notified Vacasa immediately about these obviously serious leaks and we never heard back. There was also no way to contact Vacasa before arrival to ask about the availability of baby equipment without enduring extremely long wait times. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the flexibility of having our own kitchen and separate rooms. We have 4 children, and were thinking about getting two hotel rooms. That would have been a silly decision - this room allowed us to stay together and have the flexibility of our own kitchen and 3 bathrooms. We made a trip to Costco when coming from the airport and were able to get most of our food for the week and save so much time and hassle from going out every night. We were able to complete some virtual school work and some business calls in the morning and then hit the beach in the afternoon. The high speed internet was easy to use and was sufficient for a zoom meeting or vital classrooms. The location was near several great beaches and a reactively short drive to Kona. We spent much of our time snorkeling or enjoying the many beaches near Waikoloa. One fo the 2 pools and hot tub was conveniently located near the room - so it was great for an evening soak in the hot tub and swim after a great day at the beach. The unit was well furnished, beds were comfortable and the kitchen had nearly everything we needed. We liked the ground floor unit with no condos over the top so it was relatively private. Being on the end, we were able to walk out onto the back yard and have that space to ourselves. Overall great location, comfortable room, great value. We highly recommend. ##### Phillip R.
