Safe, quiet and very beautiful property in the hills of Makaha Valley. On the western part of the island with beautiful, not crowded beaches. There aren't many places to go eat and drink in this part of town. If you like quiet, serene areas, you will love this. Homelessness is definitely an issue here although we saw this throughout the island of Oahu. Definitely check out the Tao Luau. What an experience!!! It is a bit out of the way from local attractions of Honolulu, Waikiki, Pearl Harbor and the North Shore. We had to drive a bit everyday and the traffic during rush hours on 93 and H1 is terrible.
