This high floor unit has a spectacular sunset ocean view from the lanai, one of the best on the entire island. The condo has not been remodeled, but it has been very well maintained and is very comfortable. It has a king bed (with three inch memory foam topper) and a comfortable queen-size sofa sleeper. The unit also has cable TV in both the living room and bedroom, 5G wifi, beach equipment and everything else that you need for your stay in paradise including free AC. There is also a pool, hot tub, game room, BBQ area and secured, gated free parking. Best of all, it is directly on one of the best beaches on the island. Also, this is the sunny, leeward side of the island where the weather is almost always perfect. In the back yard: \- beautiful, huge, uncrowded beach \- swimming with dolphins and turtles, \- snorkeling, body boarding, \- surfing \- paddle boarding \- kayaking \- hike up Lahilahi Short drive: \- waterfalls \- caverns and caves \- sea caves \- tide pools \- bicycling \- golfing \- World-famous Makaha surfing beach \- horseback riding at Makaha Valley Stables \- deep-sea fishing \- dolphin watching tours \- grocery stores \- many beaches and hikes Medium drive: \- tons of great restaurants in Kapolei \- three big movie theaters in Kapolei \- many beaches and hikes \- Waikiki \- airport Longer drive: \- North Shore \- many beaches and hikes A LOT of our business is from repeat guests, so we are doing things right!! We have several VRBO listings, so feel free to inquire about other units. Note: This part of the island is a mixture of socio-economic backgrounds. We have multimillion dollar homes mixed with lower income housing and unfortunately, some homeless camps. There are camps on the west side because of the great weather, but there are homeless all over the island, especially in the big city. The average price of a home is well over a million dollars here. That prices a lot of people out of paradise. That being said, you are much more likely to be a victim of a crime in Waikiki or at a tourist destination than you would be at the Hawaiian Princess. We are a gated and secure building. Most people leave their lanai doors open 24/7 to let the breeze come in and to hear the sights and sounds of the ocean. We saw turtles and whales everyday and even a monk seal two days on the beach. The view is breathtaking…everything we needed was in the condo. We felt very safe as the parking was gated and there were security guards for the building. The check-in directions are accurate and once we were in the unit, it was easy to come and go as we pleased. Easy access to the beach and we saw some beautiful sunsets from the balcony (11th floor). However, three out of the four nights we stayed, the A/C did not work correctly. The first night there was a large power-outage, the second night the A/C simply turned itself off in the middle of the night, and the third night it stopped blowing cold air (most likely the coolant was out). We contacted the host and they replaced the A/C unit with one that worked much better, however, my husband had to assist the owner in moving the unit out and putting a new one in. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, our evenings were simply full of bad luck. ##### Olivia L. Clean, and easy to access the room key/code on arrival. Well stocked with supplies and utensils needed for the kitchen. Nice balcony setup. Excellent views, sea turtles. Beach supplies were nice, chairs, umbrella, etc.. beach was private, and not crowded at all. If you like to be out of the city in a less crowded area you will love it here. The fact that my daughter lives in Makaha Valley made the decision a slam dunk. We found a room at the Hawaiian Princess and couldn’t have been happier. Extraordinary beach and location made this the perfect spot to stay. Gorgeous sunsets, whale watching, spectacular surf… you name it it’s there. We are already looking forward to going back. We sat on our balcony each morning drinking coffee watching the whales spouting/spraying and tails slapping. It was an amazing way to start the days. My family and I had an amazing time at this condo. Kathy and Mike were outstanding hosts, and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and needs were met. The view from the lanai is unbeatable, and it’s something we will never forget. We also enjoyed how the beach was not crowded at all. My incredible boyfriend surprised me with a 2 day getaway to this romantic beachfront condo!!! Of course the best part was spending alone time with him but the next best thing was the breathtaking ocean and sunset views from your own private lanai! The water is a beautiful clear turquoise blue, perfect for a morning spent drinking coffee and spotting sea turtles from the fully furnished lanai. Both the indoor and outdoor furnishings have a lovely island-influenced flair, which added to the charm of the condo. There is an onsite pool, hot tub, and outdoor grilling area for guests to enjoy. The condo also provides a small kitchenette, queen sized bed, and big screen TV for downtime. Although the condo is equipped with central air, we preferred to fall asleep with the lanai doors open so we could hear the lullaby of the ocean and feel the cool gentle breeze. The customer service from the staff was exceptional. Although Hawaii has a heartbreaking homeless problem, we felt safe and secure under the watchful eye of the staff. This is a great place for a couples seeking romantic vacation or honeymoon. I can't wait to go back!!! ##### Demitrius D. There are 3 visible from our balcony, although not technically on the property itself. The surrounding area is very rundown. O’ahu has changed since the last time we were here and not for the better. It needed some minor attention in a couple of areas, but overall was very nice. View of the ocean and the surrounding mountains was breathtaking. Unit is very secure with gated access and security to the property to get onto the elevators and access to the pool and beaches was nice. Owners provided beach chairs, umbrella, snorkel, boogie boards, towels, plenty of linens and kitchen needs. The negative was for a few miles leading up to the condo, there were homeless people living along the beaches in tents and broken down vehicles. We were never bothered by any of the homeless people, but we were on extra guard during our time away from the condo. We would not stay here again, because of the homelessness, which the owner cannot control. If the property was elsewhere, we would for sure stay in it again. ##### DONALD M.
