The four self-contained units will continue to operate as normal and remain available for guests until approximately April 2026. Nestled along the pristine shores of Wagait Beach, NT, this oasis is just a 1.5-hour drive from Darwin city or take the SeaLink Ferry from Cullen Bay for a quick 15-minute cruise to Mandorah Jetty (contact us to arrange transport to and from the Jetty). This exquisite beach house features 4 air-conditioned bedrooms. The expansive master bedroom boasts a king-size bed, ensuite bathroom, and beautiful sea views. Two queen bedrooms offer comfort, while the 4th bedroom features 2 double/single bunk beds. Additionally, the upstairs loungeroom provides 2 double sofa beds. Enjoy 2 living rooms, outdoor dining spaces, and a games room. With 2.5 bathrooms and 2 kitchens, your comfort is paramount. Linen, bath towels, tea, and coffee are provided. Enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi during your stay (available exclusively at the holiday house). For guests over 12, or those looking for separate bookings, we have 4 self-contained units. We booked the accomodation for a crew of good friends for the sole purpose of relaxing, recharging, unwinding and disconnecting from work. The accomodation was fantastic for this. We walked on the beach, had BBQ's, went swimming in the pool and watched TV to relax. I would highly recommend this place for a family getaway or if you wanted to grab a group of friends to enjoy the stunning location together. The place has so much space for all of us and our needs. The beautiful kitchen, big dining areas and multiple areas to congregate meant we never felt like we were on top of each other. We also appreciated the sleeping arrangements however the room that slept 6 was a little tricky for our singles and couples to share. Luckily with the fold out beds in the loungeroom, the extra space was appreciated. I would definitely book again for a big event - and would most likely take advantage of the extra accomodation on site (seperate to the house). Places like this are rare in the Top End and I'm really glad the venue exists - I'm already looking forward to the next time we visit! ##### Forest P. After staying in central Darwin for a week the house at Golden Sands was a beautiful way to end our holiday in a stunning location. Lots of games for the kids ... who lost at round robin Olympics against the patents and sadly realised that Dad was a sweat on the old school video games. The property is amazing, extremely well equipped with everything you could possibly think of from kitchen utensils, to board games. Amazing views of the ocean and great fishing spot just outside. Our group was a multi generation one and not all related. There was enough space for us all to find a nook and something exciting to do. The thought put towards this accommodation is superb. From the arcade game and pool table to the luxury toiletries, real coffee etc. little touches that make your stay more enjoyable. The beach location was a winner and the locals friendly. We got the ferry one day to go to Darwin which was interesting. Well maintained. Pool small but perfectly adequate. Owner easily contactable if needed. ##### Lynette B. There aren't many places that you can easily fit 3 families with young kids that are new, tasteful and well designed and this ticks the box. It's huge, and everything you could possibly want is there. The kids loved the huge downstairs area, the pool table and the retro sit down video game (pac man etc). There was a good selection of DVDs for them. There is even a kitchen downstairs. The pool is small but lovely- the kids had a ball and it did the trick. They loved the bubbles you could put on and the night light at night. The balcony upstairs is amazing and a highlight. We found ourselves relaxing there for for most of out time. You can see the harbour and the breezes were nice. Its shady for most of the day and has 2 beautiful trees in front of it. The place is beautifully renovated and the kitchen upstairs has everything you could possibly want and more. There are lots of places to hang out and so you never feel crammed in by others. Nothing like it I think within a few hours of Darwin. The kids loved getting the ferry over from Cullen Bay which is super quick and others drove with the gear from Darwin. Highly rated by everyone. There was nothing we could fault, the property was beautiful and presented clean and tidy. There is enough space for everyone yet ample room to have some space to yourself. The access to the beach is simply a few steps away and we just enjoyed sitting on the balcony, out on the grass or in the pool. There was nothing more we could want for.
