Porthcothan Beach is just 1.5 miles away. The Old Grain Barn is situated next to a picturesque stream, in a tranquil location Padstow is a mere 5 miles and Newquay and Wadebridge a 15 min drive. This was a very nice touch and the flowers were very much appreciated as was the wine. The property was very clean and cosy which made us feel at home, it provided everything we needed including a washing machine. The off road parking could accommodate two cars and with the gates closed provided a secure area for the dog to roam around. The location is perfect for beaches in the area and just a short drive to Padstow. St Merryn which is a three minute drive away has an excellent fish and chip shop. I think it would be useful to provide more local information about the beaches and places of interest and those further afield etc. A big thank you to the host for making our stay a very pleasant experience. ##### John Y. Perfect get away Penrose cottage was clean, spacious and equipped with home comforts. The property was close to many popular locations to visit whilst in Cornwall as well as being within the beautiful countryside. Rachel ensured our stay was comfortable and she had gone the extra mile to make us feel at home.
