All on the Ground Floor: Open plan living space. Living area: 26" Freeview TV, DVD Player, French Doors Leading To Patio Dining area. Kitchen area: Electric Oven, Electric Hob, Microwave, Fridge Cot/Reading Room. Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Heated Towel Rail, Toilet. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Highchair. Welcome pack. External utility room with washing machine. Large enclosed lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: This property has a security deposit of £200.. This detached bungalow, sitting in the grounds of its larger sister property, Freefolk (ref W44129), is situated just a few hundred yards from the North Cornwall Coast and just a 15-minute walk from the beautiful sandy surfing beach, shops, pubs and restaurants of Polzeath. The Freefolk Cottage has been decorated throughout in 2022\. Once you have parked up, you really don’t need the car since you can just stroll down the sandy path to the beach or the village. Polzeath is a pretty little village set behind a fine sandy beach which is known for its good surfing, where you will find surf board hire and lessons to enjoy. The cafés, restaurants and bars all serve local ales and home-cooked food, many with terraces that overlook this super beach. Just a short drive away are the coastal resorts of Rock and Daymer Bay, where you can find a variety of water sports or take a ferry across to Padstow with its array of pubs, shops and restaurants, including Rick Stein’s famous fish restaurant. Wadebridge is 7 miles, where you can cycle or walk the popular Camel Trail. Also within easy reach are the many seaside resorts on the North Cornwall Coast including Newquay with its famous surfing beaches, zoo and Blue Reef Aquarium. Further up the coast are Port Isaac, made famous by the TV series ‘Doc Martin’; Tintagel, the mythical home of King Arthur; and Boscastle with its pretty harbour. Beach 300 yards. Shop 500 yards, pub and restaurant 150 yards. Free WiFi A security deposit of £200 is payable 14 days in advance and will be returned 1 week after departure; payment can be made by cheque or BACs. There is currently building work in the vicinity of the property (a development of second homes). The final two houses will start in Autumn 2023 and the building of them will be in progress for approx 18 months, expected completion is Spring 2025\. The houses are near the garden boundaries of the property. The noise of building machinery and vehicles may be heard from the front garden.
