It boasts historical value as a converted pharmaceutical building and one of the only buildings that survived the devastating tornado of 1953\. Guests please take note: as this is located in a centralized area downtown, there are occasional noises from nearby businesses and a train. Being a historic condo building, there are also occasional noises from plumbing lines and neighboring condos that can be heard. We have provided white noise machines in each bedroom as well as in the living room next to the sleeper sofa for your comfort. Feel 100% safe in this secure, locked building. To access the unit, you will use a door code that will be provided before check-in. You will have access to the entire condo except for one locked owner's closet. In the building rear, there is a ramp for easy access. I'll be available during your stay via text for routine issues/questions or phone for urgent issues. This condo is the perfect location near so many great spots in the area to visit. It comes with a dedicated parking spot, so you don’t have to find street parking which can be challenging, especially on the weekends. The condo was absolutely beautiful with really warm and welcoming decor. It had an inviting open concept and the amenities you would need for an extended stay.Some things to note that might help your stay:- There are stairs up to the entrance of the building as well as stairs up to the main level of the condo where everything except the second bedroom resides.- The AC unit has restrictions set, so those sensitive to certain temperatures may not be able to reach a comfortable setting. - Because of the historic architecture of the building, the pipes are exposed and that results in very loud noises as other units utilize their plumbing. Additional noise occurs from nearby establishments. Each room comes equipped with a noise machine, which was helpful for uninterrupted sleep. ##### Patti R. Each time the property has exceeded our expectations. The location is great, the residence is clean and comfortable, check in and check out are a beeeze, and communication with the host is top-notch. You can walk to great shopping, dining, and sights. My sister & I stayed here for a girls weekend, & it was perfect both in location and furnishing. The apartment is so cosy, which is tricky to achieve in a loft! Comfy furniture, well stocked kitchen. I would not recommend for anyone who has trouble navigating stairs, as it’s necessary to use them in the apartment. Parking is a little weird, but that’s a building issue not the fault of the owner. The building was quiet, felt safe, and all communication with owner was flawless. We would definitely stay here again! ##### Julie d. During our breaks from the matches we could rest at the loft and walk to the Silos and other restaurants nearby. The loft was lovely and the host was responsive and accommodating. Our first trip to Waco’s and Magnolia. First off the apartment was in a perfect spot. We parked Friday night and never moved the car. A short walk to tons of stuff. We had a great time.
