### Green Door Lofts-Waco Rose - Silos/Downtown

Green Door Lofts, featured on Fixer Upper Urban Loft Challenge and referred to as \`Funky Town\` by Chip, is a 9-unit luxury loft complex in the heart of Waco\`s bustling Silo District. We are next door to the historic Hippodrome Dinner Theater and steps away from eclectic shops, antique stores, wine tasting rooms, and live music. Magnolia Market is an easy walk away, or take the free trolley that stops outside. Each loft is crafted with a unique flair and offers a distinct experience.  
  
  
  
The Waco Rose Loft is our newest loft at the Green Door Lofts. The loft is toward the back and slightly removed from the pool. Because of its location and lack of a wall mounted murphy bed I have priced this unit a bit lower than the other one bedroom lofts. It is still though extremely nice and very quiet.  
  
  
  
The master bedroom boasts a king-sized bed with high quality, pressed, triple-sheeted linens. Unlike our other 1-bedroom lofts, there is no Murphy bed in the living area. There is a sofa that converts into a day bed but at best can hold one small person or child. If more space is needed, consider our bigger 1-bedroom lofts (Tuna, Retro, or Urban Cowboy), the Magnolia Loft (2/2, sleeps 6), Bo Ho Loft (2/2, sleeps 6), or the Stained Glass Loft (4/3, sleeps 8).  
  
  
  
The loft has an in-unit washer/dryer. Guests will also love the fully-equipped kitchen, complete with coffee and tea. Entertainment includes a large screen SmartTV with Direct TV and free wifi.  
  
  
  
The building\`s courtyard has a seasonally HEATED POOL with lounge chairs and tables. The mezzanine deck overlooks the avenue below - perfect for people watching!  
  
  
  
  
  
  
  
Finally, the Waco Rose Loft is on the second floor and accessed only by stairs. If this is an issue, please consider our 4 bedroom listing on the first floor.

A unique code for keyless entry makes check-in and check-out flexible and convenient. The owner lives on-site and can be reached by cell phone any time. We\`re happy to provide suggestions for local eateries and activities, in addition to the loft\`s information guide.  
  
  
  
Green Door Lofts gets its name from the famous green door that welcomes residents into the courtyard. The green door is also referred to locally as the Hobbit Door. Immediately next door to the Hippodrome theater, the door serves as a backdrop for visitors on the street stopping and posing for selfies. Countless brides have ventured to the door for their bridal portraits. We love it!! This 9 unit complex is located on a trendy street that links the historic old homes of Waco with the parks along the Brazos River. Next door is the iconic Waco Hippodrome, where you can grab dinner and an adult beverage while watching a play, concert, or show. Waco’s free trolley stops in front of the loft before continuing to the Silos and other downtown shops.  
  
  
  
A few blocks away is Cameron Park, a 416-acre stretch of land with hike and bike trails and the Waco Zoo. We are also located within five minutes of Baylor\`s McLane Stadium. On game days, Baylor’s free shuttle that runs between downtown and the stadium is only a couple blocks away.  
  
  
  
Downtown Waco has plenty of free street parking and Ubers are readily available. The loft is walking distance to shops and restaurants.  
  
  
  
The Urban Cowboy Loft is on the second floor and accessed only by stairs. If this is an issue, please consider our 3 bedroom listing on the first floor. The Urban Cowboy Loft is immediately adjacent to the Retro Loft.

This place was nothing short of amazing! We loved every extra touch to the rosebud room even the sticky buns left for us! We thought Waco is a great place and can't wait to stay there again! Jim was a wonderful host and couldn't be kinder! Love it you must stay!!

I usually am not the person that fills these things out, but when you come across a great experience, I felt compelled to pass this info along. I did research for months to find the "perfect" place to stay for my and I for our trip to Waco. She's always wanted to go so I hoped to make her experience a memorable one. The truth is you never really know how the place will be until you get there. The customer service & hospitality from the owner "Jim" is something that you don't see much of these days. Long story short..... if you plan on visiting Waco, stay in Green Door Lofts. You will not be disappointed.

The Green Door Lofts are the perfect place to stay in Waco, close to Baylor, Magnolia, the farmer’s market….It’s a hidden gem. We just wished the weather had been warmer so we could enjoy the pool. Next time!
