Cons:

Excellent resort in a beautiful location!

Posted 31-Jul-2016
Though on the pricier side of what you'd expect to pay in Vietnam, this place was worth every $$! If you didn't want to leave, they have everything you could need. But also within walking distance to other restaurants and mini marts to get the essentials. The rooms are large and clean and the staff were amazingly happy and helpful. The bed was the most comfortable we stayed on during our whole trip!

Posted 12-Apr-2016
Pros:
Cons:

Nice beach resort with all needed services

Posted 5-Mar-2016
Location: Hotel is located on Vung Tau and close to harbor where you can get via Hydroboat.
Personell was really friendly. You could get all needed services from the resort. There was nice pool area and private beach. I recommend that you try to book your room with a sea view since there are room just along the sea and also room other side of the road.

Convenient Stop Over

Posted 29-Feb-2016
Pros: Good price and perfectly pleasant.
Cons: Wiring and plumbing in bathroom. Very small table in bedroom which was only just big enough to work on.
Location: beaches and not too far to coffee shops and bars. Ferry to HCMC about 2 minutes away by taxi.
One night for meeting with Oil Company. Hotel was friendly and clean. Room was OK, but in need of a bit of updating. The lose wires above the shower feeding the hot water heater were high enough not to be dangerous. Wifi worked fine. Food was good. Mixture of ex-pats and locals in restaurant. Only thing that annoyed me a little was that they told me the ferry back to HCMC was at 4pm. I checked online and it said 4.30pm. Asked them to check twice more and they phoned someone and kept insisting it was 4pm. It was at 4.30pm. This meant that I had to cut a meeting short which was not good. I don't know the quality of other hotels in Vung Tau but this was Ok. Good security and felt safe.

Cons:
Location:

Lovely hotel

Posted 13-Oct-2015
Firstly, this is a Vietnamese hotel, in Vietnam, aimed, primarily, at Vietnamese tourists. If it isn't your picture-perfect image of what a hotel should be, based on the assumptions and expectations you've brought from your home country, then just remember this fact. The room was amazing. We were in the area across the street from the sea, room 506 I think, and it was great. Quiet, clean, spacious, comfortable bed, everything you need. The hotel's beach isn't amazing - you won't be sitting pushing sand through your toes with a mojito, but the lounging areas are fine if all you want is a sea view, some fresh air and a good book. Breakfast was absolutely fine - again, aimed at Vietnamese tastes, so don't expect a perfect continental breakfast or whatever you'd have at home, but we found eggs, bacon, smoked sausage, fresh fruit, small cakes and yoghurts, cereal....and of course pho, rice, noodles. The whole resort was clean and tidy. The pool in particular was spotless, not a leaf out of place and lots of flowers and hanging baskets. Just don't come here expecting things to be done "the way we do things" and don't expect everyone you speak to to speak English or know what an Americana is or how to make you the perfect ham, eggs and cheese breakfast - you're in Vietnam. We'll definitely be back.
