Beautiful resort, pool and location

Beautiful resort. Very attentive staff. Large beautifully decorated spacious hillside room. Room cost was very inexpensive, and included buffet breakfast. However the restaurant prices were very pricey and was not a good value. Laundry service was expensive and priced by piece (total $30 USD) compared to Thailand where it was bulk priced (2kg for 1$US). The staff was very nice, courteous and professional. The massage staff were nice, professional and excellent. I would definitely stay here again. Nice pool too!

The resort is an Art Deco style probably built in French Colonial times. It is very elegant but a little dated. Overall, the resort is very comfortable and relaxing. The amenities are terrific and the food is delicious. My only criticisms would be the sometimes slow service in the restaurant, and the wi-fi was not reliable.

Very nice beach front hotel

Very good location. Has a small private beach with staff on duty. The beach has a man made barrier to wall off the waves and make swimming safe (like a harbor shelter). Good selection of food for buffet breakfast.

Hotel condition is good. Additional value can be provided by reception to help to arrange for transportation back to HCM since most visitor require such services.

Nice hotel with small private beach.

This is a great hotel. The staff is excellent. The grounds are kept in immaculate shape. Someone is always cleaning outside. The room is very nice. Only drawback was our bathroom was dirty when we arrived, And no one seemed to care about this.

Excellent hotel facility, very little to complain

Pros: The pool, plenty of sun beds, proximity to the ocean, the staff.
Cons: Nothing really except that people with limited mobility will likely have a difficult time with the rooms on the hillside as it is fairly steep.
Location: Excellent central location, right on the beach
There are suites on the water side and more rooms on the hillside across the road. Our room was on the hillside. It would have been nice to be on the water but given the price we were able to get through Expedia we weren't complaining. The pool and restaurant are on the water. This hotel is very professionally operated and there is plenty of staff. The people in reception have decent English and are very willing to please their guests. In fact all the staff that we encountered were very friendly to us. The breakfast buffet is excellent. Wifi worked good everywhere on the facility.

Lan Rừng Resort and Spa at Vũng Tàu

The hotel graciously moved us to a nice garden view room and we would like to thank the Assistant General Manager, Front Office Manager and Guest Relations lady for the move. We enjoyed our stay and like the breakfast buffets. We recommend that you look at this hotel for your trip.
