We offer you a lovingly renovated apartment. The French charm is omnipresent in the house, on the terrace and in the garden.
We were awarded 4 ears of corn, gite de charme and gite au jardin.
You live in a former winegrower's house from the 18th Century. Located directly on the Loue, in one of the most beautiful villages in Franche-Comte.
Vuillafans is the perfect place to spend your vacation.
Here you will find a small grocery store, a bistro, a pharmacy, a doctor and above all open-minded and friendly villagers.
And if it takes you into the "vastness", let yourself be inspired by the source of the Loue; from the many hiking opportunities with beautiful views, from

Staying here was the most wonderful experience. The house was beautifully presented and had everything you could want and more. The apartment has been decorated tastefully and to the highest standard. It was very comfortable and cosy. The host Alexandra was charming and responsive. The village is lovely with a pretty river running through it. The surrounding area is gorgeous with stunning scenery in every direction. A car is an advantage, but there is a bus service as well. I would love to stay there again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a dream French getaway.

Living in a Franche-Comte Village

We and friends (total 4 adults) stayed five nights in the Old Winery/A House on the Loue. And it is: perhaps 30 meter walk from the river wall, with views from the apartment. Pictures are accurate -- the apartments are fully and engagingly decorated, baths are large and functional, and the kitchen is modern and mostly complete, with the use of the lovely gardens. Vuillafans is a small (and shrinking) village a lovely 30 minute drive S. of the Departmental capital of Besancon, with a small grocer, a boulanger, a pharmacy, a bar/cafe, and a small restaurant that serves mostly salads and pizzas (well-reviewed, although we never went there). This lovely location comes with a penalty: it adds 30 minutes to any destination N. or West. "Considerations:" 1. The stairway to the apartment twists slightly, with treads of varying widths; this might be a challenge for your luggage, and perhaps for some guests with stairway difficulties. 2. The radiator heat is tied into the owners' system (below), and it was our impression that heat fell off (not completely) when the owners went off on a weekend holiday; both bathrooms DID have very effective heaters, and the small automatic washing machine did fine. 3. Be prepared: While both bedrooms are attractive, comfortable, and spacious, one has a balcony, attached bathroom, and the only TV, while the other bedroom -- doesn't! (it's private bath is across the hall). So, decide in advance who gets which room, or be prepared to flip a coin.

Wir haben uns Herr lich gefühlt. Ob in Räumen, der halboffenen Terrasse oder im soo weitläufigen Garten, wohlfühlig war es überall. Die Augen wurden übersatt mit Trödel oder Antikem verwöhnt, der alltagstauglichen Ausstattung hat nichts gefehlt!Die Vermieterin, nein: Gastgeberin war sowas von entgegenkommend und von einer Herzlichkeit! Wir waren mit einem befreundeten Paar über Pfingsten in der Wohnung und begeistert. Die Wohnung ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet und Alt und Neu wurden gelungen miteinander kombiniert. Unsere Gastgeberin Alexandra war sehr hilfsbereit und jederzeit ansprechbar. Das große Highlight dieser Wohnung ist der Garten, den wir auch zum Grillen benutzen durten. Auf alle Fälle empfehlenswert!

Die Unterkunft: Nach der freundlichen Begrüßung fühlt man sich gleich wie zuhause. Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Sie ist blitzsauber. Den Garten konnten wir leider nicht nutzen, weil im Oktober das Wetter mäßig war. Er wirkte aber sehr einladend! Die Gegend: Vuillafans scheint etwas abseits zu liegen, was aber auch ein Vorteil ist. Es bieten sich herrliche Wanderungen an (z.B. entlang der Loue, wenn man es gerne eben hat). Aber auch Besancon, Arbois und Arc-et-Senans liegen in Reichweite - und lohnen sich. Das nahegelegene Ornans sowieso. Es war auch im Oktober bei anfangs Regen und Loue-Hochwasser ein lohnenswerter Kurzurlaub. Gerne mal wieder,

Erholung pur

Eine wunderbare Umgebung, viel Natur, viel Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, zum sich umschauen, schlendern und genießen. Das Haus war wunderschön, die Ausstattung perfekt, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen, die Gastgeber waren ebenso freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir können es nur empfehlen.

Superbe gîte, très confortable, qui correspond aux informations fournies. La décoration est personnalisée et originale. Grand jardin magnifique dont nous avons pu profiter à notre gré. Accueil chaleureux d'Alexandra qui s'est montrée disponible pour toutes les infos dont nous avions besoin (horaires, matérielles, historiques...). Une petite épicerie bien fournie, avec de bons produits se situe à proximité du gîte. Je recommande fortement, nous y reviendrons.

Escapade en Franche Comté

Nous avons séjourné à l’appartement pour 4 jours et avons pleinement profité du lieu, beaucoup de ballades à faire dans le coin, paysages magnifiques et ressourçants. L’appartement est superbe, chaleureux et bien équipé. L’accueil charmant et discret d’Alexandra est très apprécié, elle était là pour répondre à nos moindres besoins. Tolle Unterkunft mit viel Charme

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtete Wohnung mit ausreichend Platz, gut ausgestatteter Küche und vielen schönen Möglichkeiten auch im Freien zu sitzen. Das ganze in einem netten, kleinen Örtchen mit Einkaufsmöglichkeit, eingebettet in einer unglaublichen Natur.

Bon séjour

Bel appartement, avec une décoration très soignée. 2 très grandes chambres qui compensent en partie l'absence de salon. La cuisine est un peu juste pour 4 personnes. La terrasse est commune avec les propriétaires. Le jardin est magnifique et est accessible par la terrasse. L'escalier d'accès à l'appartement est un peu difficile. Attention à l'annonce qui indique le prix de base pour 2 personnes, alors que le logement est signalé pour 4. A partir de la 3ème, il y a des frais d'invité supplémentaire.
