### Holiday house SVJETLANA with a beautiful view

This attractive, rustic holiday house in Risika on the island of Krk can accommodate a maximum of 6persons. The house is spread over two floors, it has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a balcony and three terraces. It is tastefully furnished and very cozy. On on of the terraces there isan outdoor hydromassage bath. The house is fully equipped, air-conditioned, and ideal for a vacation with family or friends.  
  
Vrbnik  
Vrbnik is a place on the island located on the east coast of the island. It is one of the oldest settlements on the island, and currently there live about 947 inhabitants.  
  
The old town is perched on a cliff 48 meters high overlooking Novi Vinodolski.  
  
The town is first mentioned in 1100 in Dragoslav deed, and in these areas were found usable items from the period of Romans and it tells us about the long history of the town.  
  
The most important economic sector is agriculture, and inhabitants are mainly engaged in growing grapes. Specifically, west side of Vrbnik is surrounded by vineyards where famous wine is cultivated on about 15 hectares of Vrbnik field, known as Vrbnicka Zlahtina.  
  
Tourism in Vrbnik  
Vrbnik is a very attractive place for vacation, even during the summer months when everything is crowded. In Vrbnik is one hotel situated above the beach, and hosts have available private accommodation, apartments and rooms in private houses. Beautifully maintained pebble and concrete beaches, bars and cafes are part of the offer to the guests who stay there.  
  
Vrbnik has an excellent cuisine. In the old part of town are well-known restaurants offering specialities of Krk and the unavoidable wine - Vrbnicka Zlahtina.  
  
Despite all the contents for guests to stay in Vrbnik, it is still mostly developed sightseeing tourism. Tourists from various parts of the Kvarner come to visit this picturesque coastal town with a rich cultural heritage. However, the perfect place for peaceful summer holidays.  
  
Beaches  
  
Zgribnica  
  
The public beach at the center of Vrbnik. This beach consists of natural pebbles as well as landscaped concrete surfaces for sunbathing. This beach has been awarded the Blue Flag Award - a symbol of cleanliness of the sea and quality of offer. Visitors can use showers, rent deck chairs, beach umbrellas and pedal boats. Nearby is a restaurant with a variety of offers - from soft drinks to food.  
  
Potovošće  
  
This beach has been named one of the 100 most beautiful beaches in Croatia. The sandy seabed, crystal clear sea, surrounded by Mediterranean plants and breathtaking views of Crikvenica and Vinodol, is truly spectacular. It is 3 km away from Vrbnik, but it is accessible by car and has parking spaces, toilets and showers.  
  
Sv. Marek  
  
On the island of Krk, the only sandy beach, 6 km away from Vrbnik, near the village of Risika. It is named after the church of St. Mark, which is located near the beach. This beach offers berths for boats, parking for cars, renting sunbeds, beach umbrellas, kayaks. The beach offers a beautiful view and this is one of the favorite bathing areas for parents with children.  
  
Pod Kovač  
  
This beach, which leaves no one indifferent, can be reached by a hidden entrance among the rocks, visible only from the sea and popularly called "secret beach". It is surrounded by steep cliffs above which is situated the village of Vrbnik, and is located on the outside of Vrbnik harbor.  
  
Kozica  
  
Located in a quiet, secluded bay, 10 minutes away from Zgribnica Beach. It is accessible by a well-maintained promenade through the pine forest, which is also illuminated at night. It is a well known gathering place for divers because of its beautiful sea bed.  
  
Nuluk  
  
Nuluk Beach is an ideal place to find peace with the sounds of crickets, the smell of pine trees and the murmur of the sea. It is located near the port of Vrbnik, and it is only a short walk from the parking lot. This beach offers the most beautiful view of the old town of Vrbnik.  
  
Javna (Risika)  
  
5 km from Vrbnik, this sandy beach bay with sandy sea bed offers rest away from the crowds. Access is possible by car, from the direction of Vrbnik as well as from the bay of Sv. Marek. The road passes by the sea, and is partly gravel.  
  
Mala Javna  
  
Beautiful view to Velebit canal, surrounded by hills and untouched flora and fauna, stone walls, and the remnants of old churches. Accessible by one of the Vrbnik hiking trails. Suitable for pets.  
  
Melska (Risika)  
  
One of the beaches connecting Vrbnik and Risika from the sea side. Melska is a small pebble beach, ideal for people who want to escape from the noise and bustle. Considering that there are not any restaurants, bars or supermarkets nearby it is advisable to take the necessary liquids, food and other necessities.

#### Great house to stay when visiting Krk Croatia

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in dit vakantiehuis. Aan alles is gedacht van kookgerei, bbq, wasmachine en jacuzzi. Het is een heel ruim en sfeervol huis met een heerlijke tuin. Het huis is wat verder gelegen van de toeristische drukte, maar dat vonden wij juist heerlijk. De drukte kan je altijd opzoeken. Svjetlana is een fantastische host. Stond altijd klaar om vragen te beantwoorden of ergens mee te helpen. Echt een heel hartelijk en lief persoon. We voelden ons daardoor heel erg welkom. Echt een aanrader voor een verblijf op Krk!
