There is a horse/pony riding school within walking distance & along the way is the ford - an ancient Roman crossing ideal for summer paddling- & the river footbridge, which is popular with fishing enthusiasts. A beautiful water mill sits on one of the walking trails, where a picnic can be enjoyed at the river's bank. 100m from the property, children have use of the playground, there are picnic areas, a communal barbecue & public toilets.
