My family really enjoyed this place. My kids wanted to live in a 2-story house and dream came true! The only thing that was downside was that not all beds were queen size, which didn't match the description.

On the surface it looked decent but there was mold in the bathroom and generally the bathroom wasn't very clean. Two bedrooms were fine, a third bedroom had a short bed, the fourth bedroom was very small and not enough room for two people. The bed sheets smelled "off".

It was a great place to stay. My sister fell and broke her knee on way driving to California. She could not climb the stairs, but the recliner attached to the couch worked out great for her to sleep on. I appreciated the fans that were available to use in this unit also....not all places think of them. The kitchen could use measuring spoons and cups though!

San Diego vacation

It fit my family of 6 perfectly! What I loved about it is that I have a 4 year old with severe autism. This house was perfect for him because there wasn’t much for him to be grabbing, that made our stay more enjoyable. We didn’t have to be watching every single movement. The neighborhood was super quiet, had no issues getting rest. I would definitely book this home again!

Great Stay!

Nice quiet neighborhood, may seem daunting at first but everyone is chill. Place had great rooming, kitchen was greatly functional, and the air temp could be changed nicely. Definitely recommend it for a stay! Helpful host as well!

family stay for wedding

this was a good place to stay as we where in town for the weekend and a wedding and simply needed a place to sleep and get ready. clean and tons of room. good note for others. all rooms are upstairs. i didn’t realize that and has a small challenge with elderly parents. otherwise all other reviews reflect the same findings. towelrack will broke in the bathroom small things here and there. no keurig however there is a coffee pot. would use again

The location was great. Quiet neighborhood. Close to stores. Beautiful place. The only thing I would say that was a downfall was that the rooms didn’t have TVs but I also get that some families want that time together In The family room. Other than that it was so nice and I would book again next time I go back out to Cali. Thank you!!!

One night stay

We needed a one night stay while going to baby shower. This house cost less than 3 hotel rooms. The house was average, but fit our needs. The house was clean, however the patio and outside furniture had not been cleaned recently. Several things inside the house were not in working order; towel rack in the master bath, two knobs were off cabinets in the kitchen, problem getting the dishwasher to start, We looked for check out procedures but found none, so we just did what we had done at past rentals. I photographed the problems and left a note. The house was located in an older area of Vista. The neighbors were playing loud music at night but stopped at 11:00.

The house was nice but a few issues, the dishwasher didn’t work, the master bathroom had a broken toilet seat lid and the towel bars were not attached to the wall, just laying on the window sill. I think that there were too many kids toys all around the garage that could have been put away better and out of the way. The house was well equipped with towels and the washer and dryer were nice to have along with toiletries. Other wise the family enjoyed the house.

Great Place to relax!

Property was great. It was an easy process to check in and leave. If i had to list one improvement it would be a Keurig for coffee. The only issue was power to charge devices. Some of the plugs would not work to charge electronics. It was easily resolved by using other outlets just wanted to make owner aware. Would highly recommend to anyone and definitely use them again!

It was excellent with easy access to Carlsbad and San Diego. The home had many additional items and was well stocked with supplies. We only had one car but parking for 2 or more vehicles could be problematic.

Worst VRBO I ever rented

Strong flowery chemical smell greeted us which made us cough. I went to slide the door open and the heavy metal curtain rod came down on my head. We began to see the worn and not entirely clean kitchen and ceiling vent which looked as if it would also drop on our heads. The neighborhood sort of matched the house. It could have been a good location but I did feel a bit uneasy. So I had just brought in 12 bags of groceries and I’m feeling extremely uncomfortable. It wasn’t welcoming at all. The bedrooms didn’t have a light. Switch by the doors and at 66 that is a no no.The last straw was the gallons of bed bug spray. I could tell if the mattress showed signs of them because mattress cover was dark gray. I texted the host and he checked in saying something about the sound of the furnace ?? So he said to call customer service because “they might help us”. Turns out 2 days have passed with no determination on our request to cancel and get a refund. It’s too bad because we were there for a memorial service. We had to hurry and find a rental and get our food refrigerated. Ties up double housing cost and lots of stress. I’m very disappointed in the lack of VRBO customer service.

Great House just thought listing was a little bit misleading

The house was great. Easy to check in, clean...Everything was perfect. The only thing I'll say is I was under the impression that a couple of the bedrooms had 2 beds. Turns out each bedroom had one bed, and the garage had a futon and two large couches. We aren't really complaining, it was easy for us and we did just fine. That being said, it was not exactly what I was expecting. Other than that misunderstanding, our stay was a 5 star stay and I would definitely take my crew back there to stay again.
